La labor realizada hasta la fecha por el Observatorio Español del Mercado del
Vino le ha llevado a ser elegido como candidato para estos galardones por su
buen trabajo en análisis estadístico y comercial en el sector vitivinícola, siendo
reconocido a nivel mundial.
Junto al Observatorio, aparecen dos representantes españoles en una lista total
de 30 candidatos.
Madrid, 13 de marzo de 2012.- La consultora británica Wine Intelligence ha creado los
“Wine Intelligence 10 for 10 Business Awards”. Estos premios se otorgan a las 10 figuras más relevantes de la industria del vino en la última década, que con su dedicación y
apoyo han contribuido a una mejora en el conocimiento y el comercio del sector vitivinícola internacional.
El Observatorio Español del Mercado del Vino (OeMv) está nominado en una lista de
30 candidatos, de la cual saldrán los diez premiados finales. Junto al Observatorio, nominado por su labor de ayuda al mejor entendimiento de sector español del vino hacia
los mercados y consumidores a nivel internacional, encontramos a dos entidades de
nuestro país, los grupos Vega Sicilia y Bodegas Torres. Igualmente, en el listado figuran
nombres como el conocido periodista y enólogo Robert Parker, el importador y comerciante asiático Paolo Pong, o el enólogo francés Michel Rolland, entre otros.
Los premios serán entregados en diez eventos diferentes que tendrán lugar entre los
meses de marzo y noviembre de este año en diversas localidades de Europa, Asia,
Norteamérica y Sudamérica, por parte de un jurado formado por 10 personalidades
relacionadas con el sector del vino a nivel mundial.

The 10 for 10 list
Research company Wine Intelligence celebrates 10 years in business in 2012. To acknowledge this
milestone they are taking the opportunity to celebrate those individuals who have made a significant
contribution to the wine business in the past decade.
W
ine Intelligence has created the
‘Wine Intelligence 10 for 10 Business Awards’. These awards are being
given to 10 wine industry figures who have
personally achieved great things in the past
decade, and in doing so have changed the industry for the better. Ten leading figures from
the global wine industry were invited to form
a judging panel and make the nominations for
both the short-list and the final 10 winners.
Below is the shortlist. The 10 awards themselves will be given out by the judges at a
series of 10 events held between March and
November 2012 in locations across Europe,
Asia, and North and South America, reflecting
both the global nature of our nominees and of
Wine Intelligence itself.
