Her influence and inspiration has inspired my designs. 30 July – 6 August The University of Greenwich is running an exciting and innovative photo project called Your Fishy Whitstable, which is a community-based and interactive project to capture through local photographs how the people of Whitstable view the fishy place in which they live, work and play. MAHL 23 July - 5 August Angela Malone, Paul Gadenne, John Hughes, Peter Livesey Watercolours, Acrylics, Oils, Prints, Sculptures Malone, GAdenne, Hughes & Livesey provide the acronym for this eclectic array of art, a Mahlstick being the rest tool for artists working at their easels. 18 Exhibitions Exhibitions 925 Fleurs by de Garis Silver The university are looking for photographs that capture the essence of what it is like to live and work in Whitstable with its active fishing fleet. They are interested in the way photographs depict the importance of marine fishing to you, rather than an aesthetically beautiful image. You are also invited to accompany each picture with a few lines of text that explain the reason for taking the picture or describe how it illustrates the importance of fishing to you.
