Science
“Quality Catholic
Education in a
Spirit of Joy”
Employing the basics of the scientific method, students will explore big questions in an
inquiry-based setting. With guidance and support, students will be challenged to
brainstorm what they are most curious about in the natural world and to develop
different approaches for finding answers and presenting their learning to others. They
will explore concepts, pose questions and arrive at answers based on direct observation
and experimentation as they gain a better understanding of the role science plays in
the world around them. This class requires high levels of cooperation and the ability
to work collaboratively.

discuss, appreciate, and think about art from a variety of cultures. Art cultivates
self-expression, imagination, creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
