MALDIVIAN RUM RUNNER

Legend says that the original Rum Runner was invented in the 50s in the Florida Keys after the rum
runners who used to run the rum from the Caribbean into the keys during the golden days. We’ve added
a touch of Maldivian flair to ours to include spiced rum, DOM Benedictine, orange bitters, egg white,
lime and sugar, served in a martini glass and garnished with a wedge of orange and mint.
HURRICANE

A traditionally sweet cocktail that packs a punch, the Hurricane is a classic cocktail designed to imbibe
on a hot summer’s day. Our version features Havana Seven Years Rum, fresh passion fruit, lime and a
touch of grenadine served in a cheeky Tiki mug.
STORMY RANGALI

Rum a Hoy! According to a legend, the name Dark ‘n’ Stormy was coined by a sailor sometime after
WWI who, while enjoying the cocktail, commented that it was the “colour of a cloud only a fool or a
dead man would sail under.* Inspired by this drink two simple yet flavoursome ingredients make a
Stormy Rangali, spiced rum and house made ginger beer served in a Tiki mug.
RUM PUNCH

History says the rum punch dates back to the 17th century when British sailors first concocted it when
they were sailing the seas with the British East India Company. When the ships hit the warm waters of the
Indian Ocean their beer in cargo became rancid and flat. Later when they came to shore the sailors
crafted new drinks out of ingredients native to their home including rum, spices and citrus. Alas the Rum
Punch was born! Omnipresent of the Maldivian surroundings we have added fresh and fruity flavours
including spiced rum, apricot liqueur, passion, lime and pineapple served in a Tiki mug.
TROPICAL COLADA

“If you like Piña Coladas and getting caught in the rain” a classic song and cocktail that evokes the sense
of vacation no matter where you are. Enjoy our Tropical Colada especially designed for sipping on the
beach and by the pool. This sweet libation includes spiced rum, passion fruit, coconut cream and Malibu
served in a smoked coconut shell.
MALDIVIAN SWIZZLE

The secret is in the swizzle! Dubbed a rustic Caribbean rum based drink that pre-dates the cocktail, a
swizzle is a swizzle after the way it’s mixed vs. ingredients; some go as far to say it’s the official drink of
Bermuda. Our Maldivian Swizzle includes light and dark rum, fresh pineapple and passion fruit and a
spicy and nutty house made falurnum. All swizzled together and served in a Tiki mug.
