Wine is a luxury part of a meal to create an atmosphere of relaxation
and setting moods. Restaurant that serves wine distinguishes itself from
other. A wine display showcases further lift up the image of the restaurant
above the competitors. The showcase highlights and displays wine and
create a luxury atmosphere of wine and dine. A wine display showcase can
be designed to be the center of attraction but yet display the merchandise to
increase the sales. It becomes an integral part of the room decor.
Current trend is for wine display to move into luxury
homes. There is an increased demand for number of
distinguished homes that incorporate wine storage and
wine display in their custom designed kitchen. Apart from
being functional and attractive, alarm and safety
features are designed into the system to prevent loss and
damage to the costly wine collection, in case of
equipment malfunction.
Wine Room
Wine room is mainly used to store
wine. Safety features are designed in
to assure that the costly wines are
stored at the correct humidity and
temperature. All our units can be set
to have temperature suitable for White
and Red Wine. Some units have dual
compartments
with
temperatures,
suitable for White or Red wines.
Humidity level is configured into the
system to preserve the cork and bottle
label from deterioration. System can
be self contained or remote to cut
down on compressor noises. In some
case, the wine room can be designed
to have dual functions for storage and
display.

Wine Wall
Wine Wall can be created to transform the whole wall into wine display
showcase. Choice of rack and lighting play important roles in presentation
to highlight and display the product. In some case, a special section is used
to highlight a particular featured bottle, to make it standout further. Large
tempered double pane glass door is used for safety without hindering the
sight of the products. Glass doors usually have small frames to maximize
the visibility of the product. Type of rack, handles and lighting should be
carefully selected to blend in well with the surrounding, making it an integral
part of the room.

System
The Condensing unit can be self contained, remote, air cooled or
water cooled, depending on design and available space. Our
system is custom designed and configured from complex variables to
calculate heat load assuring that the unit will be able to perform while
attractively display the merchandise.
Control
Our unit uses microprocessor multifunction digital
controller which monitor and control all
refrigeration functions including temperature,
humidity, defrosting. Temperature can be set to
suit different types wine. Some units has dual
temperatures
feature,
either
with
single
refrigeration system or with dual system to provide
more precise control.
Safety features:
Remote monitoring & controlling, alarm & alert
and data logging system available as safety
feature to protect expensive investment.
Sophisticated locking system available for
additional security.
Glass
Double glazed clear glass door is a standard feature
for our wine showcase. Where unit is exposed to
public, tempered glass is recommended for additional
safety. Heated glass option is also available to assure
that no condensation formed, even when the air
conditioned unit is turned off during night time.

KLODTECH standard double glazed glass
features double pane glass with Low-e
coating. The coating reflects majority of the
heat back to the surrounding, allowing
majority of visible light spectrum to pass
through, to provide full visibility of the
product Aluminum spacer is filled up with
desiccant to absorb moisture, avoiding
condensation between the two sealed glass
layers.
On double pane heated glass,
one of the pane is coated with
conductive layer which heat the
glass to temperature able the
dew
point
to
prevent
condensation.
Handle
Many choices of door handles are available to blend into the design.
Custom designed stainless steel handle can be fabricated using our laser
cutting machine to create individualized one of a kind design.
Lighting
Lighting plays an important part
to highlight the product. Choice of
lighting is important to preserve the
quality of wine and prolong the
deterioration of label. Conventional
fluorescent and incandescent lights
produce light with accompanied with
ultraviolet
and
heat
which
deteriorate the wine and label. LED
lights are used which will not affect
the product, gives out negligible
heat and will outlast the shelf life of
the product.
LED lights are
available in many shades to suit the
atmosphere of the room. It even
comes in multi festive colors for
special effect if desired.
Shelf
Shelves are usually fabricated from
Stainless steel, special designed to
highlight the product with label visible for
wine identification. The bottle tilted so
that the cork does not dry up for long term
storage. Clear acrylic is another choice
for the shelf for modern style, while wood
is an option for the rustic look.
Our shelf is slanted to preserve the cork
and equipped with vibration damper to
protect wine from vibration.
Material & Finish
Wine display showcase is fabricated from Stainless steel. There are many
choices of finish and color of Stainless steel available. Common choice is
Stainless steel with polished or mirror finish. We use V-Cut corner to create a
sharp and distinct corner to further highlight the unit. For rustic look, wood
laminate can be applied by interior decorator on top of the stainless steel.
Where the cabinet is not of glass, foamed-in-place Polyurethane insulation
panel is used to give additional insulation to the cabinet.
