Plymouth is located at the intersection of two state highways,
57 and 23, which provide ready access to Green Bay,
Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, and Milwaukee. Both highways
57 and 23 are four lane, divided highways. Highway 23
provides fast access to I-43 (nine miles east of the city).
Wisconsin & Southern operates rail lines in the city. The
Sheboygan County Memorial Airport is five miles east
of Plymouth and the nearest commercial air service is 50
miles south at Milwaukee’s International Airport.

1918 in downtown Plymouth. In 1975, it moved to
Green Bay, and was renamed “The National Cheese
Exchange”. Plymouth has several major cheese
