The Magna Carta (Great Charter) was a revolutionary declaration, ensuring that any future rulers were also bound by laws. With the Magna Carta sealed, their power could not stop citizens enjoying their rights and freedoms. The justice system that we hold dear today, with fair trials and juries, owes its existence to this historical artefact.
