The proof (FDC) or specimen striking we have on offer features the four steps

800TH ANNIVERSARY OF MAGNA CARTA
On 15 June 1215 in Runnymede, Surrey, King John placed a royal seal on one
of the most important documents in human history. The Magna Carta (Great
Charter) was a revolutionary declaration, ensuring that any future rulers were
also bound by laws. With the Magna Carta sealed, their power could not
stop citizens enjoying their rights and freedoms. The justice system that we
hold dear today, with fair trials and juries, owes its existence to this historical
artefact.
The Royal Australian Mint has struck an antique finish, individually hand
crafted pure silver rectangular $5, an uncirculated cupro-nickel 20¢ as well
