Christmas in July

In July we sponsored a “Christmas
in July” toy drive, inviting Members
to donate new toys for the young
patients at Nicklaus Children’s
Hospital – and you responded big time!

Who knew learning about savings
could be this much fun?
Polynesian dancers, a water slide and snow cones! Mechanical
swings, a mini soccer field and an interactive play! All free! And
the best part is, kids and their families were learning
about financial literacy the whole time. All at our 2nd annual
kids event, held on August 8th at our Main Branch.
Miami-Dade Public Library System mobile unit, Boy Scouts of
America, Girl Scouts and Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation
were there too.
Dade County Federal is committed to educating the youth
about basic financial principles and the benefits of financial
literacy, so they can make sound decisions later on. Besides
our annual fun event, Dade County Federal staff visits schools
and youth organizations throughout the year. We’re helping to
safeguard our children’s future.
