Emmy’s Story
Al and Emmy Thome opened their
Bavarian-style
restaurant
near
downtown Fort Smith in 1961.
Today, we carry on their legacy of
providing warm, German hospitality
and authentic German fare to the
surrounding area. The tradition is
alive and well and has lasted over
half a century.

The Tommy’s legacy began in 1946
as the famed “Jimmie Little’s”. It
served as a market, deli, bakery, and
dine-in restaurant. Tommy’s thrived at
the same location on Midland Blvd.
until 2005, when a fire destroyed the
original structure. Our hope is that you

have withstood the test of time.
