Emeritus focuses on making one wine: Estate Grown and bottled Pinot Noir. Located in the famous
Russian River Valley, this beautiful winery practices self-sustainability and producing organic
grown grapes. The wine is aged for 10-12 months in 1/3 new French oak barrels.


Brice Cutrer Jones Established Emeritus in 1999 and
brought with him the leadership that founded
Sonoma Cutrer.
Winemaker Nicolas Cantacuzene hand picks and
hand sorts his grapes. They harvest between 5ammidnight, around 55 degrees, when the grapes are
cold. This minimizes the chance of oxidization and
keeps the grapes in their most pristine condition.
