Whether it is a small intimate gathering or a large celebration each aspect of your
wedding and wedding reception is built around you and your wishes.
Our events co-ordinators will advise on every aspect and our attention to detail
and flexibility ensure this is your very special day.
We are licensed for civil ceremonies allowing your entire wedding day to unfold
under one roof.
With a selection of rooms available to hold your wedding reception, each with their
own ceremony room and outside facilities to hold your drinks reception or evening
barbecue, where better than Barnsdale Hall Hotel to host your happy day.
Barnsdale Spa is on hand to offer a pre-wedding package and assistance on
the day for your hair and make-up for you and your family. Our 66 bedrooms
are individual with many enjoying spectacular views over Rutland Water and
surrounding countryside.
Rooms can be reserved for your wedding day guests, with discounts available for
those wishing to make it a weekend away.

Civil Partnerships and Ceremonies
Your Wedding Breakfast
We have a number of rooms which are licensed for Civil Marriage and Partnership Ceremonies. These rooms vary in size from 30 – 120. Each of these
rooms have adjacent rooms to hold your wedding breakfast. There is a room
hire charge of £375.00 which includes exclusive use of the room, white chair
covers and use of our magnificent grounds for your photographs.
There is a choice of different sized rooms for your wedding breakfast. Included in all our
packages are – place cards, cake stand & knife, white linen tablecloths & napkins, white
chair covers, menu cards, master of ceremonies & complimentary accommodation on the
night of the wedding for the Bride & Groom.
Your Drinks Reception
Your drinks reception may be held in the lounge area near to the ceremony
room or alternatively, if the weather permits, outside on the terrace or in our
landscaped grounds.
Edith Weston Suite – Minimum of 80 guests seated at round tables (maximum of 8 guests
per table). There is a room hire charge of £1150.00 which covers the cost of holding your
wedding reception in this suite and exclusive use of our beautiful landscaped gardens.
Lakeview – Maximum of 80 guests seated at round tables (maximum of 8 guests per table).
However there is a minimum requirement and a room hire charge of £700.00 which covers
the cost of holding your wedding reception in the suite and outside terrace.
Osprey – Maximum of 60 guests. There is a room hire charge of £500.00 which covers the
cost of holding your wedding reception in the suite and outside terrace. This room is not
available for evening functions.
Menus
Our Head Chef will be delighted to discuss any special dietary requirements you or your
guests may have. While dishes can be substituted we ask that all your party have the same
menu with the exception of dietary selections. Your Evening Reception – after your wedding
breakfast our staff will prepare your room for your evening reception. We have a choice of a
fork buffet, barbecue or hog roast (see details in this brochure).

If you are organising the perfect hen party for the perfect bride-to-be you need

happy hens.
You can of course choose to book any treatments straight from our treatment
menu for all the members of the hen party, or if you do not want the headache of
remembering who wanted to book what, we can organise a package of treatments
selected just for your group.

sofa bed).
