LONDON’S
PRINCIPAL ADDRESS
Principal Tower is a soaring testimony to London’s continuing influence and vision.
The first residential tower in London fully-designed, both inside and out, by worldrenowned Foster + Partners, combines spectacular architecture and breath-taking
views with intelligent, elegant design of the highest specification.
Each of the luxurious apartments in this 50-storey tower also benefits from the
residents’ gym and spa, screening room, lap pool, 24-hour concierge and the newly
built adjacent tree-lined piazza of shops, restaurants and bars.
With a City address, but within walking distance of trend-setting Shoreditch,
Principal Tower offers fast, efficient transport links, as well as a wealth of cultural and
culinary experiences on the doorstep.

ICONIC
MASTERPIECE
Principal Tower is set to join the cast of architectural landmarks on London’s iconic
skyline, which includes masterpieces from the Richard Rogers Partnership,
Rafael Viñoly and Kohn Pedersen Fox.
Designed by Foster + Partners, this svelte new addition is the epitome of
understated elegance. Inspired by the architectural landmarks in its vicinity and
the historic views it offers across the capital, Foster + Partners has created a design
that responds to the uniqueness of its location both geographically and culturally.
Principal Tower offers the opportunity to own an architectural masterpiece,
equivalent to a priceless piece of art, that will give constant pleasure
and lasting value.

FOSTER +
PARTNERS
DEDICATED TO
INTERNATIONAL
EXCELLENCE
16
Foster + Partners is a fully integrated practice bringing
together the expertise of architects, interior designers,
engineers, industrial designers, project managers and
master planners which has achieved global renown
and recognition. Since its inception, it has received
over 675 awards and citations for excellence,
and has won in excess of 120 international and
national competitions.
Founded in London by Norman Foster in 1967, it
is now a worldwide studio of over 1200 staff with
projects completed in over 75 countries. Over the
past four decades, the company has undertaken
a strikingly wide range of work, including civic and
cultural buildings, offices, private houses and public
infrastructure. It was responsible for the design of
the largest single building on the planet, Beijing
International Airport, and at the other end of the
scale, the practice has designed a variety of furniture
commissions and products, including a pen.

A VISIONARY
EYE
Great Court British Museum, UK
Foster + Partners has long championed a sustainable
approach to design whether applied to architecture
and urban masterplans or product design and interiors.
Being sensitive to location and culture, it often
combines the latest in radical building technologies
with techniques drawn from local, vernacular traditions.
Architects, interior designers and engineers are
encouraged to combine knowledge and together
devise integrated and sustainable design solutions
that will enrich the communities in which they build.
Each project is reviewed regularly, both formally and
informally, under the direction of the Design Board,
which is led by founder and Chairman Norman Foster.
While Foster + Partners is credited with devising some
of the greatest architectural masterpieces of the late
20th and early 21st centuries, it has never lost sight
of a design ethos that combines radical vision with
responsible practice.

73
YOUR HOME
IN THE SKY
74
The warm and quiet tones of the apartments create a harmonious canvas on which
residents can display their own taste and personality through their chosen furniture
and furnishings.
75
AS FAR
AS THE EYE CAN SEE
76
Every apartment has been spatially configured in order to maximise the impact of the views
beyond, with many of the open-plan living areas leading directly on to balconies. Herringbone
oak floors, neutral walls and full-height windows provide the ideal canvas against which the
city’s ever-changing panorama can be enjoyed.
77
CITY LIGHTS
By day, the apartments are flooded with natural light,
providing an ambience that is both energising and
life-enhancing. By night, residents can enjoy a
privileged view of the lights and romance of the
world’s capital city that is always vibrant.
78
79
80
81
TONAL VALUES
The interior design team has chosen two palettes for the apartments: Urban and Loft. These
distinguish the kitchen and bathroom areas, while living/dining rooms enjoy the same core
design of warm timber floors and white-painted walls. Shown here is the Urban palette of
dark-stained wood, marble and copper detailing.
82
83
A
PLACE TO
ENTERTAIN
KITCHEN — URBAN
The deeply dramatic Urban palette features dark-stained timber doors,
marble-effect worktop and spectacular copper splashback. The latter
is highlighted to theatrical effect by concealed downlighters, creating a
design that looks as chic by night as it does by day.
84
85
KITCHEN — LOFT
The Loft palette is an airy combination of lightcoloured timber and marble-effect worktop with feature
marble splashback. This creates a warm, soft effect that
complements the natural daylight from which each
apartment benefits. Closed storage and full-height
cupboards achieve a seamless effect that is easy
to maintain.
86
87
BATHROOM - URBAN
BATHROOM - LOFT
The Urban bathroom palette references that of the Urban kitchen with
dark-stained joinery, marble worktops, chrome detailing and high-gloss
surfaces. It is a glamorous combination that speaks of traditional luxury
but with a very contemporary signature.
The Loft bathroom palette echoes that of the Loft kitchen with its
soft and quiet palette of pale timber, grey stone, marble and mirror.
The marble surround of the bath is a focal point of the scheme, while
integrated lighting complements the sculptural form of the sleek
double-vanity counters in select suites.

THE
BEAUTY
OF CALM
SPA & GYM
The private swimming pool is located on the first floor of
the Tower. This allows swimmers to feel as though they are
floating just above the city streets. A metal-finish feature
wall creates a sculptural focus, complementing porcelain
floor tiles and textured walls.
92
93
The spa and gym have been designed to complement the apartments in terms of the
palette of materials, emphasising the fact that this is a private space for residents. Warm and
earthy tones are offset by contrasting metallic effects for added interest and character.
The spa and gym are on the first floor, adjacent to the piazza, ensuring these are pleasant
and airy spaces with the benefit of lots of natural light and interesting vistas. Parquet timber
flooring, mirrored walls and wrap-around steel columns create a look that is smart
and inviting.
94
95
SCREENING ROOM
CONCIERGE AND PARKING
The multi-purpose screening room, adjacent to the residents’ bar, has seating that can be
configured in a number of ways, according to purpose and the ambience required. Residents
can hire this space for private parties and screenings, including film, music or games
entertainment, as well as for business conferences.
A dedicated concierge service provides residents with a five-star level of service 24 hours a day.
96
There are dozens of car parking spaces in the Tower’s subterranean car park, including spaces for
disabled users. The car park is accessed via two state-of-the-art car lifts for additional security.
Recognising that London is also enjoying a resurgence in bike use, Principal Tower also provides
ample bicycle spaces for residents.
