WHAT’S AN ? A thin layer of hard-wood plywood, supported by Gerstung Energy Blocks. The design is determined by the primary use of the floor. It is a subfloor, the most important part, that makes it a Gerstung floor, invented 50 years ago. The result is an air cushion that provides amazing lifting power and the base for a safe and cushioned landing. The surface you dance on, may be vinyl, wood or synthetic planks. It can be reversable, permanent, in color or with exotic design for home, studio, stage or multi-purpose use. Customization is what we do at no extra cost. LIFT OFF AND FLY ... Hardwood Planks The selection of wood planking is a customized process, depending on the activities on the floor and the taste of the owner. We use thin engineered planks with 3-4 mm thick wear surfaces, to assure many refinishing applications without interfering with the flexibility of the floor. Vinyl Planks or Tiles Our vinyl planks captures and duplicates the details and varieties of natural wood or stone - an amazing reflection of the real thing. A 20mill clear vinyl wear surface assures a tough and extremely long lasting finish for high traffic areas. A Perfect solution, if looks and maintenance matter, with almost no maintenance. Transporting the floor has never been easier, right to the stage for assembly. The design is of strong tubular steel and angle irons. Four heavy duty casters allow one person to transport 16 to 22 panels to their desired location. Two strong seatbelt straps keep the load secured. For Vinyl Rolls The only way a roll of sheet vinyl for dance is stored properly, is if the roll is hanging, NOT laying or standing! The Gerstung design of strong tubular steal and angle iron, built on heavy duty industrial casters, facilitates just that. A) Easy Transportation for 4, 6, or 8 heavy rolls. B) Proper storage when vinyl is rolled up tightly on center cores and suspended from a lifting pole with rubber handles on each end. A must for any ballet floor that travels or is placed in storage. Vinyl Storage Transporter Lifting/Hanging Poles GLASSLESS MIRRORS Shatterproof, very lightweight, distortion free, and it can’t fog up. The ideal solution when portability or safety are your key concerns. Glassless mirrors consist of a rigid foam core bordered by an aluminum frame. Across this frame a high optical grade Mylar film is stretched. Because of this construction, the panels are incredibly lightweight. A 4’ x 8’ (1.2m x 2.4m) panel weighs less than 10 lbs (4.5kg). Wall mirrors come in 4’ x 6’ (1.2m x 1.8m) or 4’ x 8’ (1.2m x 2.4m). Other sizes can be custom ordered. Floor stands for free standing mirrors are available as well. 4’ x 8’ (1.2m x 2.4m) = 10lb (4.5kg) 4’ x 6’ (1.2m x 1.8m) = 7.5lb (3.4kg) Floor Stands For free standing mirrors.
