The Teeter Young Gunz traveled to Topeka, Kan. to take part in the 2016 USSSA 14UC National Championship and came away with the title. The Teeter Young Gunz were
undefeated throughout the tournament and allowed just two runs in one of their six
games. In addition to the national championship, pitcher Nikki Schneider earned first
place in the pre-tournament pitching velocity competition and went on to be the Most
Valuable Player of the tournament. Charlye Rowland was named the Defensive MVP of

Bismarck. Malvern West led 7-6 going into the final inning before Bismarck scored
six runs. Malvern West answered with six of their own, with Ethan Ramsey (named
Malvern West’s MVP) bringing home Carson Paul for the winning run. Members of
the team include Kameron Rash, Carter Pulley, Damien Stevens, Kyler Wright, Devon
Juniel, Tanner McJunkins, Carson Paul, Ethan Ramsay, Braxton Nivens, Isaac Tillery,
Aiden Delamar, Jarrett Hathcock and Walker Aaron. The Malvern All-Stars also finished
second in district.

The Teeter Wildcats AAU basketball team finished first in the Hoopplay Tournament in
Bryant. Members of the team include Jarvis Owens, London Florence, Delvyn Culp,
Marquis Stuart, Patrick Davis, Javonte Brown, Andre Lutton, Alex Scott, DeAndre Burton. The head coach is Charles Owens and he is assisted by Henry Florence.

The Bismarck 7-8 year old All-Stars show off their Little League District championship trophy after defeating Malvern West. Members of the team include Jack Tugwell,
Corbin Bahr, Mikey Stephenson, Tyler Abernathy, Preston Hughes, Brody Allen, Trey
Smith, Bricen Copeland, Remy Walton, Michael Maranto and Blake Cranford. The MVP
was Preston Hughes, the Golden Glove Award went to Corbin Bahr and the Attitude is
Everything Award went to Bricen Copeland. Bismarck went on to finish second in the
state tournament.

Screw Machine recently won the 8 and under machine pitch C Class State Championship, finishing the spring season with a record of 35-7. The team consists of (front

The NSMP Mayhem were the champions of the Major League Division of Malvern
Youth Little League. The team was recognized at a ceremony at the Bank of the Ozarks
Stage at the end of the season. The Mayhem are managed by Sean Wise and coaches
include Phillip Robinson and David Dickey. Team members are Lee Barela Jr., Noah
Beene, Brayden Campbell, Payton Cate, Cody Dickey, Taggart Haynes, Carter Martin,
Ethan Robinson, Johnathan Robinson, Buddy Stiles, Briar Williams and Jase Wise.
The winners of the Pitching Machine Division of the Malvern Youth Little League were
the Allen Tillery Chevrolet Leopards, who were recognized with medals at a ceremony
at the Bank of the Ozarks Stage following the 2016 season. The manager of the Leopards is Justin Pulley, who was assisted by coaches Scott Wright, George Hathcock and
Justin Rash. Team members include Derrick Amos, Nicholas Applegarth, Davis Black,
Lucas Coffey, Jarrett Hathcock, Tyler Kuhn, Parker Maddox, Carter Pulley, Kameron
Rash, Hunter Robinson and Kyler Wright.

The Danny Hedges Yankees came away as champions of the Malvern Youth Little
League’s Minor League Division with a 10-4 win over the Lono Country Corner Smokin
Aces in the season finale. The Yankees are managed by Danny Hedges and the coaches are Jeff Marks and Amy Jones. Team members include Maddox Allen, Sebastian
Brown, Cameron Gentry, Peyton Hedges, Connor Hurley, Connor Jackson, Cy Jones,
Kelan Juniel, Julius McClellan and Grant Wright.
Malvern All-Stars (9-10)
The Michael Herrington Insurance Lil Farmers took home first place at the Boys & Girls
Club T-Ball Tournament with a win over the Edward Jones Bulls. The Lil Farmers are
coached by Josh Wilson, Reed Hodges and Brad Mabry and team members include
Landrie Crutchfield, Lyza Crutchfield, Bentley Harlan, Callan Hignight, Trevor Hodges,
Carson Looney, Colton Mabry, Royce Pierce, Dylan Ross, Lily Ross and Jace Wilson.

The Malvern Youth Little League All-Stars won the District 1 Championship at the Arkadelphia Youth Sports Complex with an 18-1, four-inning victory over Bismarck while
giving up just one hit. In the tournament, Malvern went undefeated and outscored their
opponents 42-4. Members of the team include Julius McClellan, Cy Jones, Brady Huneycutt, Dyelon Caradine, Tristian Miles, Ethan Martin, Heath Ballance, Kieston Biggs,
Jalen Dupree, Jaison DeLamar, Evan Myers, Tyler Golden and Kealen Juniel. They went
on to finish as runners-up at the state tournament.

The Bismarck All-Stars finished as runners-up in the District 1 9-10 year old tournament, held at the Arkadelphia Youth Sports Complex. Bismarck put on an offensive
display against South Arkansas to earn their spot in the finals and their only losses in the tournament came to the eventual champions (Malvern). Members of the
team include Caleb Shultz, Larson Fowler, Bradley Abernathy, Trey Cox, Malachi
Stephenson, Riley Tuttle, Kaiden Bahr, Tony Weeks, Lucas Chapman and Dalton
Daniels. The Golden Glove Award went to Abernathy and Tuttle received the Attitude is Everything Award.

The Edward Jones Bulls finished second in the T-Ball Tournament at the Boys & Girls
Club of Malvern and Hot Spring County. The Bulls are coached by Gerald Black, Jenna
