Competition
twin-plate clutches
Featuring a higher clamping load than our STR series, the
competition twin-plate clutches below are designed specifically
for racing applications including drag racing. Power handling
capacity varies according to the specific model. As a general
guide A-size clutches are recommended for up to 430hp,
B-size for up to 500hp and C-size for up to 600hp, however
power handling will vary up or down depending on the torque
characteristics of your engine. Please contact us to check if
these clutches will suit your application. Each clutch comes
with a lightweight chrome-moly flywheel and the required
bearing/carrier set or pull-push converter kit where required.

STR twin-plate clutches
The OS Giken STR series clutches are designed to offer much higher
torque capacity than a normal clutch, while retaining drivability very
close to standard. By using special new plate and diaphragm designs,
OS Giken have achieved ample power handling with just 715kg
clamping pressure. This makes the STR series perfect for every-day
driving applications, along with most race and drift applications. The
clutches come complete with light-weight chrome-moly flywheel, ruby
red-anodised billet aluminium clutch cover and the required bearing/
carrier set or pull-push converter kit where required. We do not
recommend this series for dedicated drag use. They are suitable for
up to 550hp at the engine.

R3C triple-plate
clutches
For drag racing and other extreme applications, the R3C tripleplate offers up to 850hp power handling in a lightweight and
compact clutch system. Using a floating hub design also makes
the clutch cheaper to rebuild. The clamping pressure of 1090kg is
still acceptable for street driving, while offering great resistance to
slip in drag applications. All versions feature a lightweight chromemoly flywheel and gold-anodised billet aluminium clutch cover. The
prices listed include the necessary bearing/carrier set or pull-push
converter kit as required.
LS1 R3C
Produced specifically for Otomoto, these
adjustable cam gears are one of the bestvalue modifications you can make to your
engine. On a car with other modifications,
gains of 10-15kW at the engine are common
with the correct adjustment. Even a single
adjustable cam gear (on the exhaust side) can
give a significant improvement right across
the rev range.

Close ratio
gear sets
OS Giken close-ratio gearsets offer
greatly increased gear strength, along
with closer gear ratios to suit racing
applications. The retention of normal
synchromesh parts and a helical gear
design means the gears are still almost
as quiet as a standard gearset, so this
is an excellent upgrade for street-driven
vehicles too.

GETRAG S14
For the most extreme drag racing applications, while still retaining
street drivability, the OS Giken R4C clutch is unbeatable. Power
handling is well in excess of 1000hp. In fact it has been tested in drag
cars with over 1200hp with no slip apparent. However, due to the
multi-plate design, it is still surprisingly drivable for street applications,
retaining the same clamping force as the R3C design. Like the R3C
it uses a lightweight chrome-moly flywheel, gold-anodised billet
aluminium clutch cover and the necessary bearing/carrier set or pullpush converter kit as required.

The new RB315 features 89mm stroke
and 86.5mm pistons for 3138cc capacity.
Normal combustion chamber volume
comes to 10cc, but specially shaped
pistons can also be custom-ordered. The
RB315 is built using an N1 block, with
the same specially-designed spacer and
liner arrangement as the RB30, with an
oil restrictor and piston cooler jets already
fitted. Suggested maximum rpm for the
RB315 is 8500rpm.

The OS Giken Super Lock LSD is a
unique mechanical 1.5-way LSD design.*
Unlike most LSD centres of this type,
which use only 6-8 plates per side, the
OS Giken centre has been designed
to carry 14 plates per side! This gives
the Super Lock LSD unparalleled
smoothness and ensures total locking
under load. This makes it the perfect
upgrade for modified cars used for
street, drift race or drag applications.

The ultimate upgrade for your RB26, these
complete, pre-assembled bottom-end kits are
rated to handle power outputs up to 1400hp.
The RB30 features 86mm stroke with a
forged chrome-moly crank, forged chromemoly SCM steel H-beam conrods and
forged 4032 aluminium 86mm pistons.
It is made using a new Nissan block and
specially designed spacer and liner kit.
Special features not found in a normal RB26
include an 8-bolt flywheel pattern*, 22mm
gudgeon pins and 23mm rod bearing width.
Nismo black metal crankshaft bearings are
used, with specially designed crank cap bolts.
The bottom end is supplied complete with a
metal head gasket, specially designed head
stud bolts, adjustable timing gears, tensioner
pulley and longer timing belt. Suggested
maximum rpm for the RB30 is 9000rpm.

OS-250R gear oil
•Formulated specifically for the OS Giken
Superlock series, this fully synthetic oil will
get the best performance from your LSD.
Rated at a very heavy 80W-250, it can be
used for 20,000km in street applications.
1-litre can $82
This racing sequential gearbox has been
developed to meet the needs of extreme
race Skyline GT-Rs. The gear axis
distance has been increased to 88mm
and using mainly forged materials the
gearbox can withstand up to 1500hp.
The gears are helically cut for low
operating noise, but dog-engagement
provides the fastest gearshift to suit
racing applications. The gearboz comes
with a bellhousing, gearshifter and digital
shift indicator, with a pull-up lock for
engaging reverse gear easily.
Please note that this gearbox is
intended for racing use only and due to
the dog-engagement design must be
disassembled and checked regularly. For
circuit use every 2500km, for drag use
every 500km.

OVERHAUL PARTS
OS Giken clutches can be rebuilt if
not badly damaged. We recommend
purchasing either the Overhaul A-Set
or Overhaul B-set. It is possible
to order individual parts, but new
parts will not perform to their peak if
combined with old parts.
