The Arts Castle’s mission is to nurture the creative energies of residents of Delaware County
and surrounding areas by offering full access to
a variety of multi-arts experiences. The Gallery
Shop supports that mission by promoting the
work of regional artists and providing affordable,
one-of-a-kind pieces to local residents.

About the Gallery Shop
The Gallery Shop is located in the heart of The Arts
Castle and offers a place where artists can sell their
work on consignment. The Arts Castle Gallery
Shop keeps a portion of the sales made, as is typical
in a gallery, and the remainder goes to the artist.
Our
Home
The Delaware
County Cultural
Arts Center was
established as a
not-for-profit
organization in
1986. In 1988,
the organization
purchased and
moved to its
current location,
an 1854 Anglo-Norman “castle” at the intersection
of West Winter and Elizabeth Streets in Delaware,
Ohio.
The Arts Castle, as the Cultural Arts Center is affectionately known, offers more than 400 classes each
year including painting, drawing, dance, music,
ceramics, literature, theater arts and much more.
We serve more than 3,200 registrants each year in
these classes and workshops. Our students range in
age from toddlers to past-retirement age.
In addition to classes and workshops, The Arts
Castle annually offers several art exhibitions that
are open to the public and free of charge.
Hours
Our regular hours of operation are Tuesday through
Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Other times may be
arranged by appointment.
The artwork offered by
the Gallery Shop is an
outstanding array
which includes fabric
art, original paintings,
sculpture, ceramics,
prints, handcrafted
jewelry, soaps and
cards, books, glass art,
photographs, conversation pieces and much
more!
