YOUPLAY SERVER
OVERVIEW
YOUPLAY SERVER is the high-end solution of the YOUPLAY family.
Besides the maximum versatility of playout, essential feature of YOUPLAY multimedia engine, YOUPLAY SERVER
supports a wide range of audio and video codec and delivers great performances when capturing signals, both in
Standard and High Definition. Since YOUPLAY was born as a multichannel software, a capture card with multiple in and
out makes “play while rec” situations easily manageable: users can send a file to the playout when this file is still being
captured. Just a few seconds delay will occur and YOUPLAY SERVER will thus be an efficient solution of Instant Replay.
Multichannel solutions mean maximum versatility in the definition of inputs and outputs, allowing a very dynamic
selection and all intermediate configurations from “4 IN / no OUT” till “no IN/ 4 OUT”.
Through a network connection it is possible to control routers and BlackmagicTM
video mixers, setting both the clips beginning from the mixer (slave mode)
and the channels switching when the clips start (server mode).
The open protocol allows the playlist management: saving, loading,
automatic generation from external software tools.
Compatibility with SonyTM RS-422 and VDCP protocols makes of
YOUPLAY SERVER a tapeless recorder that can be controlled by
products of the most important brands, such as the control surfaces
of JLCooperTM or the Grass ValleyTM video mixer.
