Psalm 15
“Who may worship in Your sanctuary, Lord? Who
may enter Your presence on Your holy hill? Those
who lead blameless lives and do what is right,
speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those
who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or
speak evil of their friends. Those who despise
flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers
of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it
hurts. Those who lend money without charging
interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about
the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.”
“So you have not received a spirit that
makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you
received God’s Spirit when He adopted you
as His own children. Now we call Him,
‘Abba, Father.’”
Romans 8:15
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our
gracious God…”
Hebrews 4:16a
“……we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy
place because of the blood of Jesus. By His
death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way…
into the Most Holy Place...(So) let us go right
into the presence of God with sincere hearts
fully trusting Him. For our guilty consciences
have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to
make us clean, and our bodies have been
washed with pure water.”
Heb. 10:19-20, 22
“For God is working in you, giving you the
desire and the power to do what pleases
Him.”
Phil. 2:13

The Process
Progressive Sanctification
The setting apart of the believer to God from
the world, sin, and self. It is the process by
which he/she becomes more Christlike by
obeying God’s Word and being empowered by
His Spirit.
The Process – v.3-5
“Those who refuse to gossip or harm their
neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Those
who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the
faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their
promises even when it hurts. Those who lend
money without charging interest, and who
cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such
people will stand firm forever.”
