Common questions concerning rental procedures:
Q. How does the pricing work?
A. Most prices quoted are for a one day event. If you desire to
use rental items for a longer period, please call our office
for long term rates. All charges are for time out, whether
used or not.
Q. How and when do I pay?
A. Payment is due before items are released to a customer. A 50% deposit is required on the initial order, the balance
due upon release of the order, or in the case of deliveries,
2 days prior to delivery.
Q. When should I make my reservations?
A. Early planning ensures product availability.We ask for a 50%
deposit to confirm a reservation. The reservation fee is
your assurance that the items requested will be available
on the day you request. In so much as we will turn other
people away to accommodate your reservation, cancellations can result in forfeiture of your deposit. Please be
sure of your plans before making reservations.
Q. What about changes in my order?
A. Additions are welcome based on availability. Small deletions
prior to delivery (except tents) can be accommodated.
Major deletions can result in forfeiture of deposit.
Q. Is there a charge for pickup/delivery?
A. Delivery/pickup are available at a nominal fee. Please call
our office for charges.
Q. When will my merchandise be delivered/picked up?
A. The delivery and pickup dates will be noted on your reservation contract by our consultants at the time you place
your order.
Q. Can I make changes to any order if it is being delivered?
A. Additions made after 12 noon on the day before a sched-
uled delivery are welcome, subject to availability, but may
incur an extra delivery fee.
Q. What if I am not home when the truck delivers/picks up?
A. If you know you will not be home, please call our office
with instructions as to where the merchandise is to be
left. If you are not home and we have no instructions it will
cause a delay and an extra cost to you for rescheduling a
truck.
Q. What
type of service can I expect when the truck
arrives?
A. Standard delivery/pickup charges are to tailgate drop off.
If delivery/pickup is to be made to a specific floor or area
an additional labor charge may be incurred. Our personnel are instructed to neatly stack all items in a mutually
convenient place. Special containers are provided for china,
silver, glassware, etc., to ensure that you receive your items
sanitized, undamaged, sparkling and table ready.
Q. Will my rental equipment be set up and taken down?
A. Set up and take down services are available at an additional
charge.These arrangements MUST be made in advance of
delivery and pickup.
Q. What is my responsibility for merchandise return?
A. Responsibility for equipment remains with the renter from
time of receipt to time of return.Tables and chairs should
be knocked down, stacked and ready for pickup. Items not
meeting these conditions are subject to additional fees.All
china, silver, glassware, etc. should be rinsed food-free and
repackaged in the same containers in which they were
received. Linens should be refuse-free and dry to prevent
staining and mildew. Laundry bags are provided with linen
orders; please return them in those containers. Mildewed
linens returned in plastic bags will be charged to the
customer.

CUTTING A TIERED CAKE

To Cut A Three-Tiered Round Cake
Start from the top by removing the 6" tier, which is usually the
bride and groom’s cake to be saved. Cut a circle about two
inches from the outer edge of the 10" tier. Work from this
circle and make vertical cuts about one inch apart, until the ring
is completely sliced. Use the same starting procedure and cut
another two-inch ring, again slicing into one-inch pieces. Repeat
the procedure until the tier is completed; then repeat the entire
process on 14" tier until all the cake has been served.

To Cut A Three-Tiered Square Cake
Start from the top by removing the 6" tier, which is usually the
bride and groom’s cake to be saved. Work from any side to cut
a horizontal line about two inches from the outer edge of the
tier. Slice from right to left to make vertical cuts about one inch
apart, until the entire row has been sliced. Cut another horizontal
line two inches form the new edge, and slice this row. Repeat
until the entire tier has been cut. You should produce five rows
in the 10" tier. Move to the 14" tier and repeat the process for
seven rows.

How Many Helium Balloons in a Cylinder?
Helium balloons are great fun for the young and young at heart at carnivals, fairs, open houses,
school and church socials, and more.
Before you rent your helium tank, you should have an idea of how many balloons you will be
inflating. The right size cylinder will assure that you will fill your needs.
Overfilling balloons will cause a drastic shortage of helium! For instance, filling 9" balloons to
11" will cause you to use twice as much helium. It may also cause balloons to pop as they are
overinflated.
For Safe Operation:
1. Strap helium cylinder onto two-wheel transport.
2. Transport cylinder with cap secured tightly, in a well-ventilated vehicle.
3. Set cylinder on a flat, level surface or secure to a post, wall or tree.
4. Dismantle cylinder and reattach cap when not in use.
5. Allow only persons familiar with cylinder operation to use.
6. Secure the “Open/Close” valve(s) tightly after each use to prevent helium escape.
7. Use the cylinder for filling balloons only.
8. Do not breathe helium from balloons.
