High is doing – producing class after class of shining

Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis
we have chosen to host and to pay tribute to Rebbetzin
Esther Jungreis, one of the most inspiring and influential
women of our time. How fitting it is to honor such an
incredible role model for the young women of our community. Rebbetzin Jungreis
will speak twice on February 22nd – at a reception for sponsors (of $1,800 and
above) at the home of Sean and Loretta Levi, and again at Casino Night.
Torah High is one of our community’s educational gems and it needs our support the support of the entire community. Whether or not you have a daughter in the

Sixteen years! Every year we still stand in awe and gratitude. Who would have imagined
just a few years ago that San Diego would have such an incredible school? That year
after year, Torah High would produce such extraordinary graduates? Help us celebrate

What is a Chinese Auction?
A Chinese auction is actually neither Chinese, nor an auction! It is a series of live raffles
where you have a chance to win valuable prizes while supporting the important work of
the Torah High Schools of San Diego. Stores and vendors, as well as generous
individuals, have graciously donated goods and services to THS to be used as prizes.
These prizes have been listed in this booklet, categorized by their value. Simply decide
which prizes interest you, and then purchase tickets specifically for those prizes. If your
ticket is drawn on the night of the Auction, you win that prize! The winner need not be
present to win. For your convenience, an order form has been included at the end of this
booklet. You may purchase individual tickets, either in advance or at the Auction.
How Casino Nights Work!
Casino Nights are for entertainment; real money is not allowed on the gaming tables.
Guests are given CASINO MONEY at the beginning of the night (See below). Guests
play as they would in a real casino, except that our dealers will instruct the inexperienced
player on how to properly play the game. At the end of the night the players exchange
the chips they have won for raffle tickets, so that they can win prizes. Raffle tickets can
be purchased separately.
