Disbelief that these years could have passed so quickly and gratitude to each and eve~ singer who has contributed so much in talent and time. Dr. Dale Warland Founder, Music Director and 60nductor &Jr.Warland has devoted his professional life to attaining the highest musical level in Choral singing. Consummate musicianship and attention to detait have been Br. Warland's tools in building one of·the finest choral ensembles in the world: The Dale Warlana Singers. Under Dr, Warland's leadership, the ensemble has thrilled audiences not only in tbeir: Twin Cities home but throughout North America and EuroRe. In addition to his active schedule as Music Director of The Dale Warland Singers, Dr. Warland is in demand as a guest conductor, lsctarer and composer. t:ie has conducted such prestigious groups as the Swedish Radio Choir, Danish R"aaioChoir, Oregon Bach Festival Chorus, Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Israel's Cameran Singers. In August 1990, Dr. Warland prepared The Dale Warland Singers and Latvia's Ave Sol for the performance of Penderecki's Polish Requiem as part of the final concert at the World Symposium on Choral Music. A member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASGAP), Dr. Warland is former: chair of the choral and recoreting panels of the National Endowment for the Arts. In June 1988, he was appointed Choral Advisor to OXford University Press, USA where he is assisting witH the expansion of the Oxford merican choral list and will create a Dale Warland Gnoral Series. Warland has served as Professor of Music at Macalester College and recently received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from St. Olaf College as well as the Outstanding Alumnus Aware from the t:Jniversi~ of Southern Californja.
