The future ‘Sealy of Australia’ begins
trading as Madad. The company originally
builds furniture as well as mattresses.
1950
The Sealy Posturepedic® mattress is developed
in conjunction with orthopaedic surgeons.
1969
Sealy of Australia launches the first Sealy
Posturepedic range in Brisbane, and begins
to change the way Australia sleeps.
