Auction Consignments
If your client has a unique possession that they are interested in selling, or simply just obtaining a value for it, our brand
collaboration provides a direct line to Sotheby’s Auction consignment specialists.
Images of items submitted for consignment will be sent directly to an auction expert for a “preliminary auction estimate.” A
value will be provided, along with an acceptance/non acceptance into Sotheby’s consignment. If an item does not meet the
minimum value needed to be accepted, a list of smaller auction houses in the area might be suggested. If a consignment sells
and is over $100,000.00 there is a referral commission of 10% paid to the agent or their company.
Please note that the preliminary auction estimate process will take 3-6 weeks once the Sotheby’s expert has received the pictures.
