Regulation Reminder Section 16 - Fire Code From time to time we like to review the Regulations and remind tenants new and old of what is expected and considered good practice while in the marina. When you are unplugging your shore power – please remember to turn the breaker off prior to unplugging the power cord. This will aid in extending the service life of the equipment. Electrical cords must be a single, continuous molded unit from the power pedestal to the vessel. Marine grade, approved adapters and connectors will be allowed at vessel end only. Replacement ends must be sealed and equipped with locking rings. All electrical cords must be professionally manufactured and specified for marine use. Cord size must be appropriate for the level of service, including a minimum of ten (10) gauge wire and SJ or SO rated insulation. The Port prohibits open flames or fires on the floats, including charcoal or propane barbecues, cutting torches, welders or any burning that would constitute a fire hazard. Marine grade propane or charcoal barbecues, which are physically attached to the boat as an accessory, are allowed to be used in the marina. Freestanding grills are not allowed to be used on the deck or on the float. You can receive credit to your account if we place a boat in your slip for overnight use! During peak times, it is highly likely that the Port will be able to credit your account for use, as all of our water moorage is fully occupied at this time and guest moorage areas tend to fill up with visiting boaters. Help Keep Our Waters Clean! Fishing and fish cleaning are not allowed on the docks, finger piers or inside the marina breakwater. Remember fish waste may not be disposed of into marina waters. This creates a dead zone and may invite unwanted marine visitors. Please help to keep the marina clean by cleaning your fish outside the marina. NO WAKE ZONE The marina is a No Wake Zone. Please be courteous to other boaters as you ingress or egress from your slip. Storage Available Small Vessel Storage is available for dinghies, canoes, and kayaks.
