WELCOME TO VFCC!
Welcome to VFCC! We are excited to meet you and to see how God will use the
College community to prepare you for a life of service and leadership in the
church and in the world.
Every aspect of New Student Orientation has been carefully planned to assist
you in your transition. For this reason, your participation in orientation
activities is required.
SUNDAY • JANUARY 12
Students with extenuating circumstances should contact the Student Life Office
at 610.917.1468 regarding the possibility of arriving prior to this date.
1 – 3 pm (Anvil)
New Students Check-In
Various offices will be open to assist you during check-in. Please note that
important paperwork (like your health form) and documentation (such as
your Financial Plan) must be complete before you can move into your room or
receive your new laptop. If you still have questions about what forms are still
needed, call the Offices of Admissions and Business.
Please be prepared to have your student ID picture taken. IDs will be
distributed at dinner in the Dining Commons.
5 – 6:15 pm (Dining Commons)
Welcome Banquet
New students, parents, siblings, student leaders, and members of the
administration and staff will enjoy a meal together prior to the Welcome
Celebration. There is no charge for family members.
6:30 – 8 pm (Krempels Theater)
Welcome Celebration
Students and parents are encouraged to join us for an inspiring time of
worship and celebration.

The time has come to say goodbye to family members.

START Activity
Students are welcomed to their START Teams.
START stands for “Striving Toward A Real Togetherness.” START Teams are
small groups of new students led by energetic returning students. Team
members will quickly become your friends as you interact with them in a safe
and caring environment.
START Teams are important because you will build relationships with other
new students and participate in other activities depending on the team you
are assigned. Your START Team number is printed on your name badge.

Connect2 Technology Program will be providing you a general orientation to
you prior to receiving your computer.

Music Placement Exam & Auditions
This exam is required for music majors, music minors, all music scholarship
recipients and non-music majors who would like to enroll in a music class or
an ensemble. Results of this exam will determine proper course placement.
Classes Begin!
Classes begin at various times. Check your registration schedule for your first
class of the day.
