mounted IT equipment. The inner rack floats within the outer frame using an innova-ve combina-on of magneto rheological, pneuma-c and elastomeric suspension systems. The current technology is sta-c vs. adap-ve. Sta-c requires that the weight of the equipment and the rack be entered manually. The new design senses how much the equipment weighs and dynamically adapts to varying condi-ons. Vibra-ons and shocks react differently using variable tensions and s-ffening in the suspension system. This adap-ve suspension system adjusts for those variables in 8 milliseconds. This technology allows for the rapid deployment of enterprise-‐class equipment over any terrain. It also protects equipment from being damaged in disaster scenario including earthquakes, fires, and hurricanes. FORM FACTOR Enclosures are cooled by a patented closed loop cooling. This one of a kind technology provides containment of the hot and cold aisles within the enclosure so that the cooling is applied directly to the equipment. Because the equipment is contained in a small enclosure, it allows for op-mal temperature control. The pre-‐engineered airflow and cooling are op-mized to efficiently deal with the current and future demands of the world’s most powerful computer equipment. PATCH PANEL Security -‐ One of the key concerns in today’s compu-ng environment, is eliminated with EMS’ tamperproof cyber lock. The mul--‐-er lock provides secure access and a documented audit trail as to who accessed the equipment and when.
