Welcome to the Albury Seventh-day
Adventist Church

Bible Study: 9.30am
We warmly welcome each

us this morning.
Family Life Focus
“Stated and implied messages such
as “you’re not good enough, thin
enough, smart enough, strong
enough . . . “ are replayed over and
over in the back of your mind. They
can warp your view of yourself, sap
emotional energy, and drive you to
constantly prove those messages
wrong by engaging in superhuman
feats of effort and stamina. . . . To
ensure that negative messages are
permanently erased, it will be
necessary to record over them with
positive messages of self-worth and
acceptance. It is important that
these messages come first from
you.” Jantz & McMurray. Healing
the Scars of Emotional Abuse, pp
164, 165.

MIQ Teens &
Youth Program
During this one-of-akind, 10-part television
event, Pastor Doug will
tackle the biggest
problems facing young
people today — and help them see
why and how the Bible is still
totally relevant in everything we
say, do, and even think!
During MIQ, teens will discover ...
Can the Bible be trusted?
Can we really know the future?
How can we know there is a God?
What's the truth about dating?
How can teens double their IQ? …
and much, much more!
You don't want to miss it!

The Place of Worship
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are
his];
we are his people, the sheep of his
pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his
name.
For the Lord is good and his love
endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all
generations.
Psalm 100: 3 - 5, NIV.
I appeal to you, brothers and
sisters, in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that all of you agree
with one another in what you say
and that there be no divisions
among you, but that you be
perfectly united in mind and
thought. 1 Corinthians 1:10 NIV.
