Waiting for a Train a short film by Uladzimir Taukachou and Alex Vetrov Waiting for a Train is a romantic emotionally gripping film about two young adults who fall in love with each other. The couple struggles to deal with a health challenge. The story brings romance and laughter into your heart, it will make you cry, laugh, and think. Two people meet on the train station. An accomplished cinematographer specializing in scripted, unscripted, documentary, fiction, short and feature films. He brings his unique vision to his work and problem solving having lived in two opposite systems communism and capitalism. His cinematography credits include “Beard”, short experimental film. “Vince Giordano - There's a Future in the Past” feature-length music-rich, intimate portrait of a ferociously dedicated and gifted musician, archivist, and historian, and the 11-piece band that Vince and his partner Carol Hughes keep going against all odds (in production/postproduction). “Plain Jane” (TV series) a reality show that goes beyond outward appearances to give each woman the chance to make her romantic dreams come true as well (released). His short fiction film “Waiting for a Train”, about a couple struggling with a health challenge accepted to Golden Door Film Festival, Coney Island Film Festival, Willifest Film Festival (New York, New Jersey 2014). He is working as an assistant director for “I Spend Time with Making: Lucas Samaras” a portrait of Greek-born Lucas Samaras, one of the most important American visual artists working today (production). He got cinematography and aerial photography credits for documentary films about Native Americans in Oklahoma "Building Bridges: Indigenous Media" (production/postproduction). His short film “Rice” premiered as a finalist at City University Film Festival (New York, 2014) and accepted to Devour! The Food Film Fest (Canada, 2014). His short films “No Pizza for Sandy”, “Handball Legend Brought Back to Life”, “Forgotten New York - Yellow Submarine” premiered at Coney Island Film Festival (New York, 2010, 2013). His short film “Energy 11105” won Best Cinematography award from Kodak and Best Sound Design from CUNY TV at Cityvisions 2014 (New York). His short films “Rise” and “Energy 11105” accepted to Matsalu Nature Film Festival (Estonia, 2014). He is currently involved in couple documentary and fiction projects in different roles including directing, cinematography, aerial photography, editing, color correcting and sound design. Alex Vetrov (writer/producer/director/editor/composer) He spent a decade working in production house company directing commercials and music videos. Some of them, like music videos, won prizes as breakthrough ideas and best cinematography. In collaboration with UT for the last 2 years accomplished several short movies. Keeps himself busy writing screenplays for feature films and short movies. Starring Natalya Rudakova (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3130063) She was born in Leningrad, former Soviet Union. Her parents moved with her from Russia to New York when she was 17 years old, and she continues to reside in New York. While working as a hairdresser at a salon, she was discovered by Luc Besson, the co-writer of Transporter 3, in New York, when she crossed a street. He gave her acting lessons and cast her as the female lead in Transporter 3. Vahag Bagratuni (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5402896/) Born in Yerevan/Armenia,grew up in Stuttgart/Germany, Vahag Bagratuni graduated from the famous Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute in 2012, where he also attended Master Classes with Anna Strasberg and Vincent D'Onofrio. In 2011 he became a professional observer at the legendary Actors' Studio. He is now living and working in Los Angeles,CA. His credits include plays like "Hatful of Rain" (2011),"Killers and Other Family" (2012) or "Widow Shylock" (2014) as well as films like "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013),"Inside The American Mob"(2013),"Waiting for a Train" (2014) and "The Needs of Kim Stanley" (2015).He recently got cast in a supporting role in "Men of Granite", a high-school basketball drama starring William Hurt and Shirley MacLaine. Jonathan Cruz (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5544061/) Jonathan Cruz is an actor and US Navy veteran. As an actor he is training with world-renowned acting coach, Penny Templeton. He has a BA in music and has had extensive theatre training at the City College of New York. Born in New York City, Jonathan has been featured in various indie films and also on-stage throughout the tri-state area. Katie Trubetsky (http://www.exploretalent.com/katietrubetsky) Katie Trubetsky born in Moscow, mother Russia, has resided in New York City since her infancy. Exploring through her passion as an actress, Katie knew this was her main goal and desire in life. She also often indulges in other passions as well as singing where she is now currently working on her own music with producer Carlos Akbar/ Illustrae. And dancing where she has 10 years of dance under her belt including (ballet, tap, jazz, and 2 years ballroom, cha-cha, rhumba, jive, samba). Aside from also designing some of her own clothes that she likes to do, she is also a head part of a fashion designer team in the charity that she supports named “THERE IS NO LIMIT”, supporting kids in Guinea Africa. aside from that she is an outgoing loving, and dedicated charismatic spirit who takes any of her acting roles as she quotes: “A new world that i will be a part as soon as I walk on the role for until the story closes.
