Despite traditional heavy metal falling out of favor in their hometown of Los Angeles, REVEREND never
compromised their musical vision to try and fit in like many of their counterparts awkwardly did. Album
tracks like “Another Form of Greed” and “Butcher of Baghdad” found REVEREND mining from their
classic metal roots and infusing the material with a modern thrash bite. It was a perfect marriage of

SPECIAL DUTIES have been one of (if not the) most influential bands in street punk history. The band
came into prominence with their 1982 album 77 in 82 (which spent over two months in the independent
charts) and, as silly as it sounds, its chart topping (Top 20) U.K hits “Police State”, “Too Much Talking”
“Bullshit Crass” and “Punk Rocker”. Not too much more can be sad about the band that hasn’t been said
a million times. Cited by bands from THE UNSEEN DEFIANCE, THE CASUALTIES, and more as being
the sole reason for their existence. 77 One More Time has been in the making since last summer, and the
response has been rabid! Fans from around the world are already lining up, and word of mouth has been
nothing short of insane.
This album marks the first material in print since 1999’s long out of print Singles Collection released
on cd format only. This is the band’s first official full length vinyl release since 1997. We’ve gone over
and beyond on this record with several limited colors, full color poster inserts, superb re-mastering
from original sources to bring these 30+year old recordings to new life while retaining their classic
sound, and solid packaging. This is Vol. 1 of a two volume series (with Vol. 2 scheduled for late this
year) and finally a brand new record of all new material in late 2014/early 2015, as well as worldwide
touring planned for much of 2015 and regional touring this year in support of the record. Jailhouse is
also pulling out all the stops on this record, with ads in every relevant ‘zine and website, posters and
promotional materials sent to stores worldwide, a CD release of the record scheduled for August, and
teaser promo CDs. Rarely have we been this proud of an album, and are humbled to release material
from such a legendary band!
