Captain’s Log
The All Ireland Junior Mixed Foursomes Finals were on today but unfortunately our team lost in the Semi Finals to Lisburn GC. I would like to
thank the Captain Donal Cronin and his team for their efforts in getting us to the All Ireland Semi final and to commiserate with them on a
day when things just didnt go their way. But that’s golf and in particular foursomes golf.
Best of luck to Terry Brady and our Fred Daly who take part in the All Ireland Finals in Moyola Park next Tuesday 25th August.
I would ask you all to come along and support the Information Meeting that will take place on Sunday 23rd in the Clubhouse at 7.30 p.m.

Well done to Stephen Brady on winning the
Centenary Cup from Brian O’Sullivan in second
who just held off a newly returned to golf Barry
O’Boyle on the Back 9.
Stephen had what can only be described as an
absolutely blistering start. By the 6th , thanks to 2
eagles(3,5) and 2 birdies(1,6) he was 6 under
after 6!!. His only blemish was triple bogey on 9
courtesy of an awkward bunker shot. Great
shooting Stephen and a welcome return to the
winners circle
