(This test is taken at enrolment or by appointment) Tracks and levels Tracks • shortened (80 hours, level 1 to 6) • regular (120 hours, all levels) • prolonged (180 hours, levels 1 to 4) • Following a shortened, regular or prolonged track depends on your degree of schooling and/or the result of the ‘covaar’-test. Levels • level 1 (Breakthrough) • level 2 (Waystage) • levels 3, 4, 5 and 6 (Threshold) • levels 7 and 8 (Vantage) • levels 9 and 10 (Effectiveness) • In levels 9 and 10 you get ‘blended learning’ (evening class + supervised self-study via the Internet) Intensity of the courses An 80-hour track takes ten weeks (2x per week). A 120-hour track can take: • one schoolyear (1x per week) • five months (2x per week) • ten weeks (4x per week = intensive). An 180-hour track takes five months (3x per week) Lessons can be followed in the mornings, in the afternoons or in the evenings.
