El país de los ciegos
This narrative is one of the most brilliant texts
about blindness as a metaphor. It deals with
topics like society and human knowledge, and it
shows how some communities exclude the one
who is different from their beliefs, customs and
traditions.
El país de los ciegos / Herbert George Wells.
El nuevo cine latinoamericano de los años
sesenta
It tells about the emergence of the so-called
“new movie theaters” in several Latin American
countries during the early 70s, locating them in
their political and ideological horizons. However,
it also locates them in the modernity that was
shaking the international movie universe known
as “new waves.”

Hija de humo y hueso
Karou studies in an Art School in Praga where
her drawings and sketches attract her teachers’
and peers’ attention. Everybody believes that
she has an unbounded imagination since the
creatures she draws are fantastic beings that
cannot live in this world, but the truth is that
Karou was raised among them.
Hija de humo y hueso / Laini Taylor.
