Pageant Mustering & Route
This is an invitation to you and / or your boat club to join
in the Thames Festival River Pageant. The Pageant
aims to promote the Thames as an arena for all, joining
together river users of all kinds in a programme-packed
river display.
The Pageant will run from The Queen Elizabeth II Pier
(by the 02 Dome) to Pimlico and back and will include
users of the river from working tugs and steam tugs to
private yachts, fireboats, and pleasure boats.
Bring your boat and help show the 850,000 Londoners
at the Thames Festival how the river is used!
Make sure to fly your bunting and show your flags!
−− The Pageant parade will muster at 13.00 and start
at 13.30 from The Queen Elizabeth II Pier.
−− The parade will proceed up-river, sailing through
the Festival site, between Tower Bridge and
Westminster Bridge, where a commentary will explain
the vessels and their organizations as they pass.
−− The parade will turn above Westminster Boating Base
and be joined by vessels from the upper Thames; it will
then proceed down-river passing again through the
Festival and finishing at Hermitage moorings at 15.30.
No entry fee is required and once your order form has been
received a full break-down of events including mustering
and timing details will be sent to you.
