I-for-U Greek Mentoring Network is a non-profit organization with an
8-member Board of Directors
It was established in 2012 by a group of 8 women who come from
different sectors of business. They met by coincidence in January
2011 at the "Invest for the Future" Conference in Turkey. When they
came back they got together and decided to help young women in
their entrepreneurial career paths. That's how i-for-U Greek Mentoring
Network was born
i-for-U now has an active network of about 760 friends, 22 active
supporters and 15 Mentor- Mentee pairs. It also enjoys a reputation of
a very dynamic and rising organization.

Mentoring Programs : Our mentors are
seasoned entrepreneurs and educators
whose experience and insights will help the
mentee see things in a different way,
encouraging her in her every day quest for
success.
Networking: With conferences, networking
breakfasts and online activation, i-for-U
offers a variety of opportunities.
Mentoring
Mentor Definition & Role
A mentor is someone with more entrepreneurial business experience than the mentee,
probably in the same industry as the mentee, who serves as a trusted confidante over
an extended period of time.
The role of a mentor is to share their wisdom, their mistakes and their successes, so that
the mentee can acquire experience much faster. Apart from their insights, expertise
and knowledge on business matters, mentors, as established business people, are more
than likely to have an extensive network they can offer the mentee accesses to. Think
of all the senior decision-makers the mentee might gain access to!
It's important to note that the Mentor doesn't train, evaluate or interfere in the daily
routine of the Mentee. Naturally, there's something in it for mentors too! A true
mentoring relationship works in both directions - they learn about new ideas from you
just as you learn all you do from them.
