FROM THE TWHEAM PRESIDENT, Trish Foster
Well, I am coming to the end of my fourth, and last, term as TWHEAM President and must say that it
has been a very satisfying experience. This is primarily due to the fact that I have been working with
some of the finest people I could have asked for. Thanks is in order to the following folks: Karen Harlan, Barbara Jennings, Pat Nikrasch, Jean Larson, Sandra Brosious, Catherine Hanson, Jan Sousa, Jack
and Lisa Emory, Mike Starmer, Mike Foster, Sally Suk, and Tom and Cherie Russell. You all have made
this work fun and gratifying. I pledge my support to the TWHEAM member who steps forward to become the next President. It really is a job worth doing.

LARRY WHITESELL GAITED HORSE CLINIC
JUNE 26-28, 2015
Blue Ribbon Arena, Deer Lodge, MT
We were fortunate to get Larry Whitesell to come to Montana this year. Those of us
who attended this clinic learned a lot from him. We look forward to him returning in
2016.
I apologize for not having pictures of clinic participants. I was too busy trying to learn
things myself!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Larry Whitesell will be back June 24-26, 2016, for Clinic #2!
Contact Karen Harlan if you are interested in attending

Suzanne Miller and Dunrovin Ranch
have been supporters of TWHEAM activities for many years. They generously allow us to use their 20 acre
pasture for our Obstacle Course in
May. If you have not visited them,
begin to familiarize yourself with what
they do. A wonderful place to visit, in

TWHEAM OBSTACLE COURSE
MAY 16 AND 17, 2015
DUNROVIN RANCH, LOLO, MT
We had two days of challenges and achievements. Coaches, Lori Roy and Ethan Zimmerman,
provided expert guidance and guaranteed safety and success for all participants. This has become a very popular annual event.

TWHEAM SPONSORED TRAIL RIDE
EAST FORK CABIN, SULA, MONTANA
AUGUST 27-30, 2015
Despite valley smoke a small group of us spent four days at the East Fork Cabin just
north of Sula, Montana. We managed to get in a few good rides and enjoyed time around
camp, playing games until we had to break out the headlamps. Those who attended
were: Catherine and Gary Hanson, Coe Dolven, Trish and Mike Foster, Ann and Ross
Damrow, and Pat and Joe Nikrasch. Of course, this group also included a motley crew of
canines!
