Page 18 October 2014 PENNSYLVANIA EQUESTRIAN Win a Spreader from Millcreek Horse owners have the chance to win a new Millcreek 27+ Traditional model compact manure spreader from Millcreek Manufacturing, Inc., located in Honey Brook PA. The Sweepstakes giveaway is live now on the Millcreek Spreaders Facebook Page and continues until October 10. The Millcreek 27+ Traditional spreader is suitable for up to four horses and comes packed with exclusive features including lower sides for easy loading, low-maintenance sealed bearings, poly floorboards with Lifetime Warranty and a built-tough powder coated steel body. The Millcreek Sweepstakes is open to all residents of the Continental US and District of Columbia. Contestants need to provide a valid email address; entries are submitted by completing the entry form on the Millcreek Spreaders Facebook Page under the contest tab. Entries close at midnight, October 10. The Sweepstakes winner will be chosen in a random drawing and announced on Facebook on or before October 20. Low Cost Gelding Opportunity The York County SPCA Equine Program and the Pennsylvania Equine Council will conduct a low-cost gelding clinic October 21 at Pin Oak Lane Farm in New Freedom, PA. The Unwanted Horse Coalition of the American Horse Council, the Pennsylvania Equine Council, the York County SPCA Equine Program, William J. Solomon, V.M.D. of Pin Oak Lane Farm and the drug company Zoetis each are contributing time, funds and facilities in order to make this clinic possible. A maximum of 20 stallions will be accepted. The fee is $40 per stallion.
