he Samuel Field YM&YWHA, a not-for-profit, multiservice communal organization, has been providing a
comprehensive network of programs and services to the
greater Northeast Queens Community for over 55 years. The
agency is committed to its mission of improving the quality of
individual, family and communal life and serves over 30,000
individuals annually through a diverse array of services offered
at 30 different sites. The Samuel Field Y places particular
emphasis on the development of programs and services that
target our most vulnerable community members including at
risk youth and elderly, victims of family violence and people of
all ages with disabilities. We have a strong service oriented
mission and proudly serve the needs of a diverse, multi-ethnic,
multi-lingual community.
In conjunction with our many programs and locations
including our newest service center, the Central Queens Y, it
is our hope that together we can better serve the Queens
community. We look forward to meeting you and to help meet
your family's needs. If you require a service that we do not
offer, please call to inquire. For those who are able to help and
donate to the Y to defray the financial strain of preserving vital
programs and services, we would welcome your support.
Please see the many opportunities to help listed on the back
inside cover. We pride ourselves in our ability to meet the
challenges of our ever growing and changing community and
hope that you will soon become an important part of The
Samuel Field Y family, and learn first hand why we are proudly
called “The Everybody Place”.
