From the MYA Workshop in OC This CA!!! past weekend the St. Ephrem MYA (Maronite Young Adults) participated in the 7th Annual MYA workshop in Orange County! They were able to participate in amazing workshops that discussed our Maronite faith, family, and community, as well as, celebrate mass with visiting clergy and Bishop Zaidan. Thank you to everyone who supported the MYA bake sale that helped to send our youth to this workshop! Mark your Calendars for a very special occasion Our parish has been scheduled to receive the relics of St. Sharbel on January 4th and 5th of 2016. th As December 5th, 2015 is the 50 anniversary of the beatification of Saint Sharbel, his relics are scheduled to be in the U.S.A. starting on September 25th. The relics are scheduled to visit every parish in the Eparchy. Newly Born We congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Staci Farrage on the birth of their daughter, Siena Florence. We will be united in churches across the country in prayer to end abortion and to restore God's blessings of Life and Religious Liberty in America. The National Night of Prayer for Life is a prayer service consisting of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the holy Rosary, and prayer to St. Michael and silent prayer. The National Night of Prayer for Life prays through our Blessed Mothers intercession for the establishment of a Culture of Life, protection for the Church from persecution and asks Our Lord to REVIVE OUR LAND.
