Friendship Never Out of Season Here
We see throughout the dark days of winter that friendships
planted in warm days of summer flourish all year long here at
the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club. Teammates and competitors from the Clays Leagues continue to gather here for food,
drink and camaraderie all year around. When the weather is
conducive, they even slip out for a round or two of Sporties.
These teams bear whimsical names like Pickled Nutts, Almost
Broke and Clean Miss. They gather here in every season to proclaim not just the love of their shooting sports, but to celebrate
the bonds they have forged on and off the range. Friendships
flourish among teammates and competitors alike.
One recent occasion was this “Big 6-oh” outing in honor of
Don Lynch’s birthday. As the photo shows, a good time was
had by all. Way better than a Chucky Cheese party!
Team ADTWASP (A Drinking Team With A Shooting
Problem) is another example of a League team that utilizes the
Club as the center of a rich social life. Not only are they tough
players in the Sporting Clays League, they regularly gather here
for “meetings” throughout the year. They also put on an annual
winter gathering that includes a pheasant hunt and a pot luck
dinner at one of the lodges.

Making The Occasion
Truly Memorable
We never tire of reminding people that there’s no better
way to make a special day truly memorable than to spend
it at the Club. Whether it’s a wedding, “big” birthday,
company picnic or family reunion, there’s no other location that will ensure such easy planning, smooth execution
and years of wonderful memories.
Judy wants to remind everyone that the Club is a perfect place for an “old fashioned” company picnic, complete with food, fun and games. She will organize it for
you, right down the potato sack and three-legged races. It’s
just the thing to promote team-building and provide a lot
of great memories for all the employees and their families.
Call Judy soon to reserve your date.
When you think celebration – think Minnesota Horse
and Hunt Club.

Spring Snow Goose
Hunt in Missouri
There is no doubt that Missouri is the ultimate snow goose
destination! Our friends at Other Side Outfitters L.L.C. provide the migratory “X” for our hunters. With access to over
80,000 privately owned acres, the “whites” have no problem
finding them. Their ground sits just south of the world famous
“Golden Triangle” and with very little hunting pressure in the
area it makes for some unbelievable action. Missouri is part of
a conservation order that allows hunters a “no limit” policy for
snow geese.
Rates start at $300 per
person, per day. “We look
forward to having you as a
part of our hunting family,
and we ask that you come
ready to experience waterfowl excitement at its best,”
welcomes Dustin Lewis, the
proprietor. Contact Bill Urseth for more information about hunting with Dusty and Other
Side Outfitters. Call 514.234.0443 or e-mail

12-26, 2010 the Dakota Decoy Company will be filming their
Snow Goose DVD with them. If you want your chance to have
a lasting memory and a shot at being on TV, book as soon as
possible; these dates will not last, but hunting remains good into
March. Other Side Outfitters runs all full body goose decoys.
All sizes of groups are welcome and corporate rates are available.
Other Side Outfitters is glad to help in arranging hotels, meals,
car rentals, etc. to meet client needs.
Argentina: The Drought Is Over!
The drought is over
and the rains have come
to Chaco in Argentina!
That is the excellent news
from our Argentine partner who says, “From our
lodge in San Martin we
are seeing great numbers
of ducks and they are
nesting.” This means that
the hatches will be mature
when the season starts
and the shooting should
be very good. We’ve been
told that in Mburucuya,
on the rice fields that
John secured last year, there are already good numbers of
duck. In Santa Sylvina where there are usually large numbers of dove but no ducks, there are actually rosy billed
pochards nesting and the hatch should be ready for you to
hunt in May. Overall, everything is looking very good for
this duck season in Argentina.
These high volume hunts for duck, dove, pigeon and
Perdiz over dogs are being
offered to you at greatly
reduced prices. Food,
lodging, license, transport
to and from the airport
and lots of high volume
shooting is all included.
The hunt is for 8 nights/7
days and you can distribute how many days you
want to devote to each
species at your pleasure.
It’s an average drive of 45
minutes to the shooting
grounds.
The season starts May
1st and runs until the end of October for duck. Pigeon
and dove seasons never close; Perdiz closes mid August.
Keep these seasons in mind if you want to schedule all species. Packages start at $2,995.
