The Echoes of Yesterday's Memories nada lama is a space which evokes the memories of the past - from the beautiful tiles on the floor, to the gracious strains of music wafting through the space, to the tantalising scents of our family recipes brought to the present day. nada lama celebrates the heritage of Penang in a distinctly modern space. We recognise that food has the ability to recall the remembrance of past joys - and a good meal is able to create new stories and journeys. The plants, grown without any synthetic based fertilizers, are cultivated and nurtured by Chef Looi Soon Lee. The culinary herbs are picked once a day to meet the needs for flavouring and garnishing of dishes in all our outlets. Feel free to explore our garden at any time before 7.00pm but if you wish to meet Chef Looi for a chat, he is usually there between 3.00pm to 4.00pm on most days.
