sad but true, this time had to end. but we received an adequate compensation for
our pain of separation. heading back to the woozyBMX headquarters, we
stopped by at montpellier and met anthony perrin and joris coulomb to shoot a
little edit packed with style and skills.
if you love BMX as much as we do, you'll love this!
we were stoked by these two french gentlemen riding!

throwback section - bruno hoffmann
remember back in the days…
bruno back in the days
this issues throwback section
is taking you back to a time
when a new star of BMX was
born. bruno hoffmann, that crazy
kid from siegen, germany, that
got his first BMX bike at the age
of seven. It did not take long that
he pulled awesome tricks on pro
ramps. everyone with a little
knowledge about BMX or even
only the ability to use his eyes
realized, that he would become
one big number in BMX one day.
in 2016 he is one of the best
bmx riders in the world.
so it was easy to choose him
as the one to open this section
with.

copenhagen
w o o z y B M X t r i p - denmark & sweden
woozyBMX going up north! another great woozyBMXtrip in 2015 was the one to
denmark and sweden. we started with visiting rabalder parken in roskilde. an old
industrial ditch turned into a skatepark.
a real fun place to ride!
rabalder parken - roskilde
dude,
that
place
is
copenhagen
next stop was copenhagen where we met the first
locals, asger duus and kenneth christensen.
thanks for showing us around, we were really
stoked by the spots! the city has so many
rideable places. skateparks, plazas, street spots
and last but not least the legendary bowl in
christiania.
wicked!
asger duus – fælledparken, copenhagen
luciano masetti – malmo

luciano masetti
after that we went on the road
again, or more precise, on a
bridge, to meet luciano masetti in
malmo. he is from argentina but
living in malmo.
luciano masetti
and guess what, that city has some
damn nice spots too and lociano
realy showed some decend riding.
oscar gottfries – helsingborg
in helsingborg
gottfries.
we
then
met
oscar
Impressive! that dude is a machine!
popping out whips and feeble hard1bars
like it's a peace of cake.
street riding at it's best!
oscar gottfries
after having some drinks at a super
stylish bar in a park (in skandinavia
everything seems to be packed
with style), we headed up further
north the next day.
forward to gothenborg, where we explored
the skateparks in the greater gothenborg
area.
let me tell you, you won't run out of spots
on a roadtrip to denmark and sweden.

then it was time to head back to the woozyBMX headquarters, so we jumped on
the ferry back to denmark. but on our way home we had one more mission.
the street dome in harderslev.
awesome!
a huge skatepark that is hard to imagine if you haven't seen it.
street dome - harderslev
but it would not be woozyBMX if we wouldn't have checked out the second
skatepark in town. and it wouldn't be BMX if nothing surprising would have
happened.
after a couple of minutes a car stopped and some guy was yelling at us.
unbelievable, our friends dennis kicza and niklas “nik1“ großmann showed up
out of nowhere. we didn't see that one coming! they didn't hesitate to get on their
bikes and ride a session with us. a perfect ending of another amazing
woozyBMXtrip.
dennis kicza
niklas großmann
thanks to everyone we met on the trip! one more great experience enjoying the
cohesion of the world wide BMX family.
we
had
an
awesome
time!

woozyBMXjam 2015
creative chaos!
photo: michael steingräber
in summer 2015 we had to move out of "the
platform“ location in cologne, germany. it was
a fun project but due to
the landlord things were
a little difficult to keep
going the way it was
meant to be.
so our mission was to
get the whole setup
(quarters, ledges, banks,
rails, props, etc.) moved
out of the place and find
a decent new home for
everything.
paul thölen that eally was a task but
with some phonecalls and some luck we got the
offer to store the setup in the backyard of
cologne´s indoor skatepark (ahk59).
this industrial backyard looked pretty cool for a
jam. so we pitched it to the owners of the park
and were ready to go faster than expected.
(thanks to carola, salvo, sarah, dany
and richy for making it happen)

we also got some support from
sibmx, which was great. we
couldn’t have done it without
you! t h a n k s b o d o !

michael steingraeber was into
the idea right away and we
started planning.

we did the first woozyBMXjam more than 10
years ago and it has always been creative
chaos.
this one was no exception! wild setups
and more ghetto style ramps than we ever
had. it looked fun and everyone killed it!
thanks so much for everyone that came
over for the jam and supported it in one way
or another! we want to do it once a year from
now on. maybe in another location? maybe
in another city? we will let you know as soon
as we know it. stay tuned for more!
thanks again to everyone!

tech section
is tech really that important?
do you need more than that
trusty vx?
maybe yes - maybe not.
we are into tech not too
much but enough to keep
going and find new ways to
make bmx look fun. our
latest addition is a new little
copter to capture some
different angles. the first test
footage is out. here is the
secret link ;)
more to come soon.
360° VR - the future?
we tested a little 4k 360 degree cam.
while it is only a pre-production model
it still looked very decent and we can’t
wait to show you the results. amazingly
strong fisheye lens (great for insta,
too!), panaroma video and of course vr
(virtual reality) videos will be possible.
is this the future? we don’t know but it's
fun to play around with that camera for
sure! check out the links to the first
test videos with a non 4k model. with
this amazing technology you decide
what part of the action you will see by
moving your mobile device.
you will see full edits on the
woozyBMX youtube channel in 2016.
