The various services are operated by a consortium of major operators in the Dublin area and it is hoped that the service will come to be regarded as a reliable means of travelling to campus each day. John, formerly of our sister restaurant Barracuda in Bray and Le Meridien Shelbourne, is very excited at the prospect of his latest challenge especially facing the busy festive season. Janette is equally as excited and with her wealth of experience in such trendy locations as U2’s Tea Rooms in The Clarence and Toronto’s 12th Precinct Dance Club, she hopes to bring a little of a cosmopolitan feel to Citywest Business Campus. Yet again we reach the end of another year and face into the winter months after a particularly good summer. Here on campus during 2003 we have built on the sense of community by hosting a number of events such as the barbeques in the summer. By all accounts, these were enjoyed by all who attended and we hope to hold further events next year. We have also brought some culture to Citywest by hosting the first ever art exhibition, which was held in the new internet café. For the techies out there the kiosk is connected to the web via a 2Mb circuit kindly provided by Esat BT for super fast access. Esat BT will also be installing their BT Openzone Wi-Fi product allowing wireless broadband access to the internet on campus for those with a BT Openzone account. Thank you A notice board which provides a means of communication and advertising of various events and activities is provided for use by patrons. All of these divisions are now based here in Citywest at the new headquarters. Off The Wall organised and ran the event with both paintings and sculpture by sixteen well-known and up-and-coming artists exhibited. It competed with a number of exhibitions in more traditional locations in the city, but was generally regarded by those in the know as a very good exhibition and was certainly a first for a business park in Ireland.
