and enlightening PowerPoint presentation in Chapel last
Friday concerning their recent trip to Washington, D.C.!
Thank you also for bringing back to the school such a
captivating souvenir for all of the students and staff to
enjoy.

student body so efficiently through this year’s Presidential
Fitness Challenge assessments! We are also grateful to
the Almighty for the beautiful weather He sent to assist us.
DEEP APPRECIATION is also extended to the many
generous Canterbury Hot Lunch Moms who bring
happy smiles to the students on Fridays and promote
such a supportive atmosphere in the school family! You

The “object pronoun” is always used with the object of a preposition. Nearly all errors
in usage occur in compound constructions. Two clear examples are furnished below…
INCORRECT: The tickets were for Jim and I.
CORRECT: The tickets were for Jim and me.
INCORRECT: She went to lunch with Sue and I.
CORRECT: She went to lunch with Sue and me.

A study recently revealed the stopping distances and reaction
times of those who use cell phones while driving are slower
than those of intoxicated drivers. Remember to give your full
attention to driving, especially in Canterbury’s parking lot!
