WELCOME BACK TO OUR BREEDING STATION IN LODBERGEN!
2015 was a year of growth and consistency
for Dressurpferde Leistungszentrum Lodbergen (Performance Center for Dressage
Horses in Lodbergen; DLZ). Due to our stallions’ quality and to our breeder-orientated
service, we were able to increase our number
of coverings by 10 percent.
In 2016 we will offer two new first-class stallions: Royal Deruto, who is successful in advanced level (S) dressage classes as well as
the Trakehner reserve-winner and RidingHorse Champion Herakles.
The two stallions-stars Couleur Rubin and
Rubin Royal OLD, which are out of Harli Seifert’s breed, are back home from Switzerland
and available for breeding. The latter ranks
eighth in the list of world’s most successful
dressage sires.
Dante Weltino OLD, who managed to enter
the longlist for the Olympic Games in Rio
together with his rider Therese Nilshagen, is
focussing the sport at the moment. Anyway
we are providing frozen semen of this exemplary sire in excellent quality for you.
For Romance dominated the licensing
events with his first stallion year. Additionally
from a sportive point of view the two times
winner-stallion will now enter the advanced
level (S) classes under his rider Kira Wulferding.
Yours sincerely
Urs Schweizer
The DLZ was able to deploy five selfprepared and licensed stallions at several
licensing events last year, among them
the 2nd reserve-winner Federico Fellini
(by For Romance) in Westphalia and the
premium stallion For Final (by For Romance)
in Oldenburg.
In the interest of our breeders and customers
and in keeping with the motto “committed
to quality“ we will do our best to live up to
our success year 2015. At this point I would
like to give my cordial thanks to my team’s
fantastic commitment.
We wish you the best of luck and success in
your home and stable!
DRESSURPFERDE LEISTUNGSZENTRUM LODBERGEN (DLZ)
STALLION STATION
Dressurpferde Leistungszentrum Lodbergen, which was organized in 2008, combines breeding and sport at the highest level.
To achieve this goal, Harli Seifert‘s former
stallion station in Lodbergen was altered as
well as expanded and turned into a highly
modern training center.
When it comes to advising breeders and fertility management for mares as well as help
in marketing offspring, service is written in
capital letters in Lodbergen!
SCHOOLING/TRAINING
HORSES FOR SALE
THE DLZ
Under the direction of Urs Schweizer dressage
horses of the very best quality are also strictly
selected for the sales stables in the perfectly
equipped training center in Lodbergen. All of
them were raised here and are predominately
by the stallions stationed in Lodbergen.
Healthy nurtured, carefully schooled and
excellently trained, they have everything it
takes for upper level sport. We always have
a good number of young talents in our sales
stables ready for your inspection – from foals
to soundly trained dressage cracks and even
licensed stallions.

DANTE WELTINO OLD
Under the guidance of famous coach Klaus Balkenhol Dante Weltino OLD has as an eight-years-old
in Grand Prix classes, took fifth place in the Louisdor-prize final in Frankfurt and with his Swedish
rider Therese Nilshagen he is on the Olympic long
list. Furthermore he was awarded VTV Dressage
Stallion of the Year in Oldenburg.
In his very first season in advanced level classes
2014, he celebrated 13 victories and placed in the
final of the Nuernberg Burg-Pokal. Christoph Hess
commented “he is a really exceptional horse”. As a
five- and six-years-old, the 1st Reserve Champion
of 2009 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta qualified for
the National Championships by winning a range of
competitions for young dressage horses.
Four of Dante Weltino OLD’s sons have been licensed, including the Oldenburg premium stallion
Del Ponte, a Westphalian premium stallion, and Di
Prinzio, who has been licensed in Mecklenburg-
Vorpommern. His daughter Rikkiroyal obtained
the Id-premium in the brilliant ring at Oldenburg
elite-broodmare show. A range of foals rose to
top positions at shows and auctions. Like that his
daughter Kassandra de Jeu was one of the most
expensive offers in Borculo.
His sire Danone I wins ribbons up to Grand Prix
level.
The granddame Riconess is the dam of the
show-jumping National Champion and winner of
the Badenia Prize Lumos as well as of the Olympic Games and World Championships participant
Riwera OLD.
The great granddame Ricarda is the dam of the Oldenburg victory mare Riconda. This is the successful line of Richilda.
Dante Weltino does not have a red factor and is
therefore homozygous.

score of 8.73 and a dressage index of 136.
His sire Diamond Hit has also earned the reputation
of a trademark stallion among Donnerhall’s licensed
sons.
His dam St.Pr.St. Parole d’honneur was the Champion Mare at her broodmare performance test in
Bavaria, after which she won several dressage competitions and then produced three State Premium
mares as well as two full-brothers of Dominy, which
have also been licensed. His brother Diamond Star
won the 2009 Bavarian Championships, took fifth

FIRST AMPERE
With fantastic scores First Ampere took gold at
Hanoverian Championships and bronze at National Championships in the class for three-yearsold stallions. The wonderfully masculine looking
Hanoverian premium stallion received 10.0 for his
canter. At his 30-day test in Muenster-Handorf,
he was awarded a final score with emphasis on
dressage of 9.09. In 2015 First Ampere won riding
horses and dressage competitions for young
horses in series, among them the Elmlohe victory
prize. The judges valued his canter here 10.0, his
trot 9.5.
First foals of First Ampere inspire with their elegant
type and their energetic movements. One daughter was sold at Hanoverian elite-foal auction.
His sire Ampere, bred in the Netherlands with lots
of Holstein genes in his pedigree, was the KWPN
Champion Stallion in 2008. He won his stallion
performance test with excellent scores up to 9.5 for
his canter and very good scores for all of his gaits,
rideability and talent for dressage (9.0). Ampere
sired more than 30 sons which have only been
licensed in Germany.
The dam’s sire Weltruhm was schooled up to advanced level and sired many horses that have been
sold at auctions in Verden for high prices.
The granddam Lonely Heart had also been bred
to Connery which has resulted in a licensed, black
premium stallion named Charles Aznavour.
The dam’s sire Latimer has been a National Champion and won dressage competitions up to advanced level.
The dam line continues through Allround, an Argentinus son, going back to Lugano II, Duft I, Frühsport and the thoroughbred Poet – all sires very
popular in their days.

on rightfully added the initials of the Oldenburger
sport sponsorship program to his name, completed
in 2015 his stallion exams with a superior victory
in an elementary level dressage competition for
young horses.
His first foals also proved him to be an outstanding
sire. One of his sons took third place in the final ring
at the German Foal Championships in Lienen and
another colt took part again in 2015. He has a range
of premium foals and national as well as international top auction horses to his name.
The bloodlines in his pedigree, which has been

FOR ROMANCE
Thanks to theepoch-making hereditary powers of
the two-time Champion Stallion For Romance, his
offspring overshadowed all others. All seven, exhibited stallions from his first foal year were licensed in
2015. With Federico Fellini he presented the 2nd reserve victory in Westphalia, who was auctioned off
for 250.000 Euro afterwards. For Final went on the
premium ring in Oldenburg, in Hannover For Dance
and Fortunatus. For Faible, a premium stallion from
Mecklenburg sold for 140.000 Euro, has to be added.
At the 81st Oldenburg Elite Auction 2014, For My
Love brought record-making 80,000 Euro. At the
German Foal Championships, a For Romance son took gold
and one of his daughters silver. Also in 2015
one colt participated
in the final ring in
Lienen.
After taking the Oldenburg Champion Stallion title,
For Romance completed his 30-days test in 2012 in
Schlieckau, where he was awarded 9.25 for his trot
and rideability, 9.0 for his canter and 8.88 for his interior. In 2014 and 2015 he qualified with top scores
for the National Championships and is now prepared for his first starts in advanced level classes.
His sire Fuerst Romancier, who took fourth place at
the World Championships for young dressage horses as well as at the National Championships, received the I-a main premium in the group of stallions
with emphasis on dressage.
The For Romance full-sister is the Oldenburg victory mare Fasine, who became National Dressage
Champion in 2015 and who was sold for 1.3 Million
Euro at P.S.I. auction. His full-brother was Oldenburg
premium sire in 2015. His half-brother Fortunell was
the victory stallion in Mecklenburg and his half-sister became Best of All British Dressage Champion.

FRASCINO
Ravishingly beautiful black stallion with three (!)
outstanding gates and superior appearance. Concerning his own prospects hecan’t denyhis close
relation to the runner up in the dressage horses’
world ranking Desperados FRH. His father Fuerst
Wilhelm became Oldenburg State Champion (6 y.o.) in 2012, placed in the National Championships
and is now trained up to advanced level. Out of his
four licensed sons especially the State and National
Champion Fuerst William HC and the Mecklenburg
reserve winner stallion stand out.
The dam Danzmusik has placed in novice level
aptitude tests and is meanwhile stationed in the
Netherlands for breeding. She is the half-sister of
the licensed Desperados FRH (by De Niro), who
won the gold medal with the German team in WC
and EC, the silver medal with the German team
in the Olympic Games and whoplaced second
in the EC individual competition under Kristina
Bröring-Sprehe/GER.
The sire Don Frederico from Celle, who was the
Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2012 and who
is the father of more than 40 licensed sons, has
brought the championship hero Diva Royal and
Don Johnson FRH.
Wolkenstein II, Matcho AA and Pik Koenig (by Pik
Ass xx) align themselves in further generations.
The granddame state premium mare Maskottchen
has brought the advanced level dressage horses
Rapati and Welfenkoenig, the medium level dressage horse Wollondilly and the third place finisher
in the National Championship Wie Platine.
The licensed stallions Condiro, Scarosso, Rocko

HERAKLES
Herakles is the reserve victory of Trakehner licensing
in 2011 and elite-candidate and is due to his classy
appearance, his athletic type and his powerful-elastic
movements considered to be the most telling ambassador of his well-known father Gribaldi.
Herakles‘ maternal dynasty is established to be the
mainstay of the Danish sport horses breed. So Herakles‘ full sister Helouis became Danish victory mare of
the year in 2011.
The bloodline goes back to the mother line Herba.
The maternal grandfather Michelangelo is also the
father of Michellino
and herewith responsible for Laura
Tomlinson‘s Olympic horse Mistral
Højris.
Herakles was the Riding Horses Champion at National Trakehner Show in 2013. He has qualified for the
National Championships under Dorothee Schneider.
He is currently victorious in medium level dressage
competitions for young horses and competed internationally under Laura Strobel, who belongs to the
team Dorothee Schneider.
His first foal year from 2013 inspired. Herakles is a
resounding sire. His offspring are characterized by
their clear type, considerable corpus and generous
movements.
Herakles presents a range of victory foals, among
them the Champion from Schleswig-Holstein out of
the Hohenschmark-dam Conquest. In 2015 he was
able to register four Championship-foals in Schleswig-Holstein. His daughter Illektra was the most
expensive filly at the auction within National Show

Confident and just superior in every circumstance
Rock For Me won riding horses competitions and

Me made a fantastic impression: 9.25 from the guest
riders, 9.0 for his character, 8.88 for rideability and
8.75 for his canter and walk, 8.63 for interior values
and 8.5 for temperament, constitution and willingness to perform and 8.0 for his trot.

RUBIN ROYAL OLD
UPHILL
With Uphill, Dressurpferde Leistungszentrum Lodbergen has an exclusive offer for breeders in
Germany: One of the most coveted and successful
stallions in Royal Dutch Warmblood breeding.
With Oscar - thoroughbred Apollonios - Luitenant
Generaal - Commandant in his pedigree, Uphill has
highly interesting bloodlines. A full-sister named
Whistly was the Dutch Champion Mare in 2007.
As four- and five-years-old horse, Uphill won silver
and bronze at the Pavo Cup, the equivalent of the
German National Championships and in 2006 he
reached the final of World Championships for young
dressage horses. In 2008 and 2009 he took the KNHS
Dutch Indoor Champion title and in the meantime
he has placed in Grand Prix dressage competitions
under Diederik van Silfhout.
Some of Uphill’s offspring in the Netherlands have
competed in the Final of the Pavo Cup. In 2014 four
off his offspring were selected for the Dutch Indoor
Championships. His son Aston Martin participated
in the World Championships for young dressage
horses, went on to place in dressage up to Inter I
and made his debut in Grand Prix. His licensed son
Carlton Hill was able to win competitions up to
Inter I level.
Among his licensed sons are Clever Hill Q,
Fashion Hill, Down Hill Q, Briljant, United Europ and
a premium stallion in Mecklenburg from the Kasselmann stables. Another licensed son, Fennovanck,
is trained in Andreas Helgstrand’s stables in Denmark.
A daughter named Curonia passed her broodmare
performance test with the highest scores ever given
in the Netherlands and took the Champion Mare
title in Gelderland.

Couleur Rubin, one of the best advertisements for
Seifert performance breeding and one of four licensed sons out of Grannuschka that are all highly
successful in sport, won the Championships of Basel
with Ludger Beerbaum and the Nations Cup of La
Baule. He took second place in the Masters League
Final in Frankfurt and the Badenia in Mannheim as
well as third place in the Grand Prix of Neumuenster

etc. In 2012 he was retired from sport.
This Cordamé-Grannus son had already revealed
his outstanding talent in 1998 when he was licensed in Oldenburg and received the dream score of
10.0 in free jumping, taking the I-i premium. In 2001
Couleur Rubin took the Vice National Champion
title in the class for five-years-old show-jumpers and
placed again in the final one year later in the class
for six-years-olds. In 2002 he received the VTV

Stud fee splitting rule for deliveries of fresh
semen by our stallions
The EU Insemination Station Lodbergen has introduced a breeder-friendly stud fee splitting rule,
i.e. instead of the entire amount of the stud fee
and various credit options if the mare is not in foal,
the following system which is divided in two parts
applies as of immediately.
1. When ordering fresh semen from each of our
stallions, the insemination fee applies for the entire duration of the breeding season and must be
paid by all breeders. This fee covers the expense
of collecting and preparing fresh semen as well
as a percentage of costs for marketing and administration.
last insemination. Proof that the mare is not in
foal must be provided without being requested
to do so by the breeder in the form of written
confirmation by the treating veterinarian sent to
Dressurpferde Leistungszentrum Lodbergen GmbH
by October 1, 2016 at the latest.
If a veterinary certificate confirms that the mare is
not in foal issued by the 60st day as a maximum has
not been presented within 14 days after issue, the
foal fee will be automatically due. This also applies
if it is determined later that the mare is not in foal.
3. In the case of embryo transfer, the full stud fee
will be due for each embryo successfully implanted.
If embryo transfer is planned, please let us know in
time.
4. Breeders have no right to more than one dose
per oestrous cycle on principle, but will be made
according to possibility. The delivery of the orders
takes place in the sequence of receipt.
5. Semen shipped abroad must always be paid in
advance!
There are no rights to credit or discounts for the insemination fee. The insemination fee is due at the
first insemination of your mare. Not included in the
insemination fee are expenses for EU certificates,
the shipment of semen, veterinary charges or costs
for boarding.
Neither a breeding certificate will be issued nor will
the breeding/insemination be registered with the
respective breeding Verband if we have received
confirmation that the mare is not in foal.
2. The second half of the current stud fee, the socalled „foal fee“ is due only after it has been proved that the mare is in foal. The deciding factor is
the mare being in foal on the 60th day after the
For those stallions we offer which are available
through frozen semen, there is an insemination
fee for frozen semen, i.e. this is an insemination
fee for a single insemination with frozen semen of

the respective stallion. Before semen is shipped,
the insemination fee for frozen semen must be
credited to our bank account at the
Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg
IBAN number DE 96 2805 0100 0001 916402
BIC: BRLADE21LZO.
Not included in the insemination fee for frozen
semen are the costs for shipment of the frozen
semen and the veterinary certificate. An additional
80 Euros will be charged for shipment in Germany
and, if applicable, 80 Euros for the veterinary certificate. (Return transport must be organized and
paid for by the ordering party).
Frozen semen must be ordered far enough in advance so that the order can be processed. The
insemination fee for frozen semen invoiced and
payment received on our bank account before
delivery can be made.
The person who orders the frozen semen must provide a container for shipment which must be sent
to our address in time. Shipment will be made by
courier and the costs invoiced to the ordering party
separately.
For legal reasons, it is only possible to send frozen
semen for insemination to recognized equestrian
insemination stations or veterinary clinics.
The insemination fee for frozen semen is due in any
case; there is no right to credit if the mare does not
come in foal. When reordering for the same mare,
a discount of 100 Euros for the respective frozen
semen insemination fee will be given.
It is prohibited to resell frozen semen on principle.
In General
If a stallion should become unavailable on short
notice during the breeding season for special
reasons (shows, illness, etc.), frozen semen can be
used, if available, or the breeder can utilize another
stallion at the station if he/she desires. The insemination fee will not be refunded. However, it will be
credited in the full amount paid to the entire breeding fee for the new stallion used.
If for some reason the stallion is changed by the
breeder, no extra charge will be made for changing
the stallion. However, if the newly selected stallion
is more expensive, the difference must be paid.
If the stallion selected is less expensive, the breeder
has no right to reimbursement of the difference in
the amount.
Dr. Ute Vaske‘s station in Lastrup is available for
boarding mares. Here the mares have generous
stalls and the possibility of pastures. The charges
for boarding mares and veterinary services will be
invoiced by Dr. Ute Vaske directly to the breeder.
The daily rate for boarding mares with or without
foals is 15 Euros. Mares and foals are boarded at the
risk of the owner.
With the exception of maiden mares, a cervical culture is required for all mares not in foal.
Liability
The stallion owner is only liable for damage caused
by willful or gross negligence on his part or the part
of his employees or assistants. This liability limit includes all damage that could arise while the mare
is boarded and when the mares are brought to the
stallions.
The stallion owner will not be liable for damage
caused by third parties.
To cover the risks that arise from the owner‘s liability for keeping animals according to German legislation (§ 833, 834 of the German Civil Code [BGB]),
the owner must have animal liability insurance.
Place of Performance and Venue
The place of performance and venue for present or
future claims arising from this business transaction
is Lodbergen.
Applicable Law
Any agreement governed by German law.
Health Services and Breeding Hygiene
The owner of the mare or horse agrees that if required an equine veterinarian (station veterinarian) may be called in at his/her expense if deemed
necessary by the stallion owner. These costs will be
invoiced separately to the owner of the horse by
the veterinarian.
