YAMBA PUBLIC SCHOOL Date 3/06/2014 RESPECT: LEARN IT, EARN IT, SHOW IT. 1417 “Short change your education now and you may be short of change the rest of your life.” Unknown PRINCIPAL’S NEWS child until they are on the bus. I look forward to this improving. Dear Parents, Enjoy your week. Good luck to those students rep- Yours Sincerely, resenting the Northern Rivers or Sam Davison North Coast in coming days. Principal Staff are very busy finalising assessments and writing reports and these will be going home on Friday the 20th. Parent interviews will be available the following week and I would encourage parents to talk/meet with their child’s teacher. There are a number of students not wearing school jumpers. Please make sure your child has the appropriate school jumper or jacket and that it has their name on it. As part of our ‘tree audit’ there will be two trees cut down, one is just outside the front gate and one inside the front gate. Our audit was carried out as part of a state wide’ tree audit’. Congratulations to 6P who put on an inspiring class performance which highlighted Reconciliation Week and all it represents. Great singing and guitar playing as well. Good job 6P. Don’t forget excursion payments are due, if you are unsure where your payments are up to please call in to the front office. Children’s behaviour at bus stops is causing concern. Some children are being rude and silly and also disrespectful to adults.
