Advent is here and Christmas is fast approaching. Where
does the time go! During this special season we try to
imitate Jesus as we give to those less fortunate through our
district Santa’s Anonymous campaign. If you wish to
make a donation of an unwrapped toy I know from
experience that one group that is often forgotten about are
the teenagers between the ages of thirteen to eighteen, both
male and female. So unwrapped items such as board
games, books, curling irons, shampoo, toiletry items,
sports items, etc. for this age group would be greatly
appreciated. Of course any unwrapped toys for any age
group would be more than welcome.
In addition we will be having our giving tree kick-off for
Santa’s Anonymous on November 30 and our advent
celebration on December 15. Hope to see you there. The
Christmas concert this year will be December 12.
In closing on behalf of everyone at St Martha School and
Ms. Miller we would like to wish you and your family a
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Announcements
Please note that we
are a nut-
Giving Tree
You’re invited to buy a present
for a Fort McMurray child in
need this Christmas.
How: Your child can choose and
keep an apple off the Giving Tree
in the St. Martha Foyer.
What: Your family purchases a
present for the gender and age of
the child in need. (Found on the
apple ornament)
Then: Place the UNWRAPPED
gift under the Giving Tree to be
delivered by Santa’s
restricted school
as we have students
with severe nut
allergies. Please be
diligent in ensuring
your student’s lunch
does not contain
nuts.
Reminder
As you are aware, we are
currently unable to offer out
of school care. Therefore, it
is imperative that your child
is picked up on time
afterschool. Supervision is
provided until 3:00 pm,
however, after that time
