FAIRPORT PACKERS CHEERLEADING NEWS Fairport High School’s Homecoming Pep Rally: Friday, October 9 at the FHS Angel Hill The Fairport Packers will take part in the Fairport High School’s homecoming pep rally. The event replaces the annual homecoming parade and has been updated to include food trucks, a kid’s zone play area, a bonfire, fireworks, and much more. The organizers of the event, who include Fairport Packers parents Cory and Stacie Miller, have been hard at work to create an event that will certainly be an exciting evening of fun. The official flyer is at the end of this week’s newsletter. Note that parking at the high school is limited and shuttle services will be available. The Fairport Packers will participate in the event by being part of the “human corridor” that the varsity players will run through during their introductions. Of course we are excited about this opportunity to help kick off this new Fairport tradition. All of our football players will wear their jerseys and our cheerleaders will wear their wind suits. Plan for your child to join us to the left of the stage that will be set up on the west side of the high school at 7:00 pm. Spectator seating will be on Angel Hill. Introductions will begin at 7:15 with fireworks to begin about 8:15. Please plan on joining the entire organization in support of this new Fairport tradition. See you there!
