What is BaycresT
Dancing with our Stars?
Baycrest Dancing with our Stars is one of the
most glamorous galas in the Greater Toronto
Area, drawing close to 800 guests from the
Baycrest family – a world leader in aging brain
health – and the wider community. Held by
the Baycrest Foundation, this annual event
pairs community leaders with professional
dance partners to foxtrot, samba and tango
their way to a panel of celebrity judges, raising
funds along the way in support of Baycrest.
Supporters of Baycrest Dancing with our Stars
are as diverse as the city itself, comprising
people from all walks of life. Thanks to the
generosity of sponsors, donors and patrons
of Baycrest Dancing with our Stars, we have
raised more than $14 million – $1.5 million last
year alone – to support programs and services
that promote excellence in care, research and
education in the field of aging.
2013 co-chairs, Warren Kimel, General Manager & Vice President of
Fabricland Distributors and Keith Pelley, President of Rogers Media
