In a highly competitive international environment, Blitz-Cinestar placed confidence in AVC Zagreb to be
the system integrator for the CineStar digitisation project. Full digitisation of all theatres within the
network is planned, including the digital distribution of content and the establishment of a Network
Operations Center, a central location from which monitoring and control over every element of the
CineStar system will be enabled.
The digital halls were equipped with state of the art technology standards in mind, including wall-to-wall
projection screens of the world's most renowned manufacturers (Harkness Screens, MDI-Strong,
Severtson) and the best AV technology in the world, consisting of Barco Series-II digital projectors,
Doremi servers, RealD 3D technology, Dolby sound processors, Crown audio amplifiers and JBL
speakers.
