You will be pleasantly surprised
by the gardens of Saint-Mammès.
Escape into a labyrinth of pathways
that lead you past pypically small
private gardens. By taking advantage
of the various themed activities on
offer you will dicover the bargeman’s
world and soak up the history of
these men and their work.
Wander along the allayways and
our new quay redevelopment. Consider
for a moment the waterlevels that
record the great floods of 1910,
1924 and 1955, and you will sense an
enduring testament to the barge culture that marks our authenticity.
